Love to see this series revisited with all the new things you learned since then. I myself: Had no idea about that trick with the stacking of propulsion. Thanks again for the helpful advise. keep up the good content
Did you know: Steam propellers that use crank motors can use multiple cranks to power 1 propeller by using the flywheels found in the generator subgroup and using the belts that they have? This allows the steam props to accelerate to its full RPM faster, and maintain a higher RPM.
Note that this was recorded just before Update 3 .8 .0 .1, so the AI options are a little different from what you'd see now. Most details are the same, though! The AI is smarter than it used to be, but it's still pretty derpy. 👍
Guys I have a question to you experts... my ship is quite heavy despite using alloy all over it doesnt float really at the height I want to. How to set up upward props in the AI to a certain height?

Thank you and you are welcome! :)

... I did not know that. That's awesome to know, cheers! 😁
Oh this is helpful, thanks!
holy shit buckets. *removes entire section of ship* to hell with that bit... we're doing something cheeky.
gone are the days of internal dedi blades, but the idea is still here!

Derpy AI is the dev's way of giving us a lemon flavored pepper covered in chocolate
I just use custom jet generators with huge paddle wheels to get massive amounts of thrust with about 1000 power per material
The armor was working fine! *it* got absolutely smashed through, but your soft innards didn't!
Towards the end, I get that feeling, I think of it as "Build depression," and god does it fucking suck-

You want the Adjustments tab, and set a good minimum altitude.
why dont you utilize the spinblocks with propulsion? 1 in the front and 1 at the back can create a very manueverable craft.
That doesn't match this hull very well, and I'm sticking to basics for this build.
that makes sense, but it needs an overhaul, there were dozens of props xd@@BorderWise12
