Quick tip for anybody dealing with the issue I was in Cakewalk -- for whatever reason, the VST3 version does not allow MIDI control. The VST2 does though, so use that instead.

Thanks for the review. To my ear it is is pretty flat. Not sure if the sample it was taken from was flat to start with and it made it more noticeable.
But it didn't sound so hot.
