I like the idea that the Judge committed the most elaborate crime of murdering the ringmaster, framing Max, and brainwashing Acro into thinking he did it so that he would have a backup plan, only for that to be completely ruined by Phoenix BS'ing by saying the Judge is hiding the bust without knowing that it's true.
Maybe after the Judge declared Max guilty, it somehow triggered a magic effect that transported Acro to a universe where the Judge was the culprit. Just a theory 😂
Good memory there, It was indeed 4+4, but I decided to made it a 2+2 to save me some editing time that I'd spend on making the custom popups, as I could only find the simple 2-damage ones on Discord. I thought I could get away with it but I got busted in the end 😅

Plot twist: This is how the murder really happened. After wiretapping the victim’s office, the culprit came to the meeting place and bludgeoned him to death with the bust that he previously swapped with a dull to Acro’s room. Then, he took the victim’s place and posed as him, knowing Acro would have no way to actually verify the victim’s state. Using this at his advantage, he swapped the fake bust with the real one, making Acro remoting the real murder weapon. It was after that the killer removed to victim’s body above the chest so Acro obviously think he was the killer and as long nobody would suspect Acro to commit the murder, he was fine. But after the first day of the trial, a new possibility was advanced and the killer didn’t have other choice than taking back the bust. So, when he was on the witness lobby, the judge spiked a drink the bailif gave to Acro and removed the bust from his wheelchair to his judge’s bench. The motive: The victim discovered...the judge’s real name... So in order to silence him, he...killed him.
Lmao, this had me rolling xD And the judge's hidden identity being the motive, 😂 My only objection would be that, if the judge knew that Acro was going to murder Russell Berry anyway, he'd probably let him do it instead of killing Berry himself and fooling Acro into thinking he did :p

Plus, that wouldn’t change anything if he indeed murdered the victim or not, no one would believed a complete third party (the judge or this case) would goes a to circus to murder the ringleader. So by framing Acro who indeed have intent of murder against the girl, the case rest perfect for the judge.

Unwilling to let the victim go or to just let his daughter die he connivingly came to Regina like an uncle and convinced her that the letter was not meant for her manipulating her to put it on the notice. This would have led a lot of people to see this but then the judge ensured that the victim would see it. Now knowing the victim would go to the meeting he went there and killed him a few moments before. Fortunately when he took the victims place putting the other side of elaborate scheme into play, everything worked. It was a bonus cause the victim wore Maxwells costume instead making it even more confusing and even more unlikely he would ever be discerned. The problem of why he couldn't let Acro finish the job is because he didn't know if Acro would go for it. Of he did r didn't as long as he had the fake bust with blood smeared on it he would be held guilty. After disposing the real bust, he thought it was all over but the real bust was discovered by gumshoe who was playing with his dog missile. Knowing that the real weapon was found didn't change much except that if Acro is caught with the fake it would demand further investigation of both busts. The fake unlike the real one was not handled with gloves Luke the real one due to carelessness so he had to now go out of his way to recover it. However the fake bust was found still having his finger prints with no way for him to get away. So he confessed pre maturely while knowing he could still find a way out.
This skit is what made me love Questioned. How it’s used here made me recontextualize every time it’s used in JFA. It is the perfect “WTF IS GOING ON” theme, and that really makes it franziska’s theme in JFA. Every time it plays, she has no clue what’s going on, what Wright is thinking, or how he’s gonna turn this case around or flip it on its head. If you look at it like that, Questioned is amazing
