  • Live streams are additional content first broadcast on Twitch. More conversational and mostly full flights with less tutorial elements. Full detailed tutorials will continue on UA-cam also.

Please, please make more Tupolev videos. Every one is gold. There may be only a few thousand of us flying this plane, and I appreciate what you mean about viewing numbers, but for those of us that do, these videos have absolute priceless value. There really is nothing else out there. For what it's worth, after years of throwing money at modules, I'm going to settle on this Tu154M, to the exclusion of all else for the near future (although how many times have I said that before...), so you have at least one more guaranteed and highly grateful viewer for anything long or short you put out regarding this beautiful turquoise bird. And with these vids hopefully we can entice some more potential Russophiles.

Really glad to see somebody enjoying the Tupolev content. I love the Tu154, it's one of the really fun aircraft to fly in X-Plane, and no matter how hard I try I can't ever do a flight without making some mistake!

Thanks for making this video. I love this plane, I learned so much about planes in general when learning it. In modern planes you only start worrying about buses, hydraulics systems etc. when something goes wrong while this one really forces you to understand these things. It's a pity the add-on is not more popular, it should be.

Yes, I agree, it’s excellent to have all those same systems available with switches and buttons to control them rather than the fully automated stuff, as it helps sim pilots learn and understand the systems.

Hi! I hope you are doing well and all are safe and healthy at home. Thanks for uploading this. Now I have a good series to watch tonight. It is incredible you have mastered this bird too. I am sure I am going to enjoy and learn a lot from this too. Great and awesome job. Thanks for uploading here as well.

Thanks for the nice feedback Sajeel! Doing well here thanks, keen to get back to work now, but happy and healthy otherwise.

What a great video. The systems on this are crazy. I love the in depth explanations and the fact that you really take the time to study the aircraft.

Thanks, yes it’s certainly a complicated aircraft. I do think it’s better to actually try to understand the aircraft as much as possible - my videos are not reviews but I do hope to show enough to allow anybody to decide whether or not the aircraft would suit their own style of simming.

I remember the FSX days when I was flying the 154. Amazing content. Brings back memories

Yeah pretty much all Tu154 knowledge I have comes from the PT Tu154B2 and M in FS2004 - was a really great bit of freeware.

Thanks for the video. I bought this plane a couple of years ago, but never got down to really trying it as it is too complicated. Felis is a very detail oriented developer as we can see with his great 747-200. The latter was easier for me to learn but this one is just too confusing, but now with this video I want to give it another try. Thanks.

Thanks Vasily, It's the sort of aircraft that takes about a month of flying nothing else, then it will all make sense and be fairly natural, but it's certainly harder than the 747-200!

I bought this plane few days ago at 10 bucks 👍👍. May be it's the fourth time I look at this vid(Thank you so much for making it), did my first flight today and nav mistakes happen in the blink of an eye with this baby. You have to be in the right mood to make a whole flight successfully 😂😂. Even if there are few people interested by this soviet marvel, a shame, I hope you will make more flights with it, and may be with the "Kontur CIV" mod.
    Best regards

You are quite magnificent I enjoy your videos so mature and compose. Am interested in knowing how to convert my flight plans into the NVU format for the TU-154. How do I get to do that please.

Sorry for the delay replying. The NVU plan was done with XNVU - forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/34331-xnvu-calculator/

Thank you for the video and explanation of nvu I'm not familiar with. I can provide you some gdrive links with custom sounds and textures (on Russian) if you want.

Thanks Bogdan - I've tried operating with the Russian panel (I used to be able to with the Project Tupolev!) but I get lost too easily now ;-) Glad you liked the NVU stuff, the XNVU application is really helpful and it's very satisfying when it all works out.

Russian Pilots.....they scare me! And so do their planes! HAHA! The last time I operated an aircraft like this in a flight simulator was years ago with the old Captain Sim 707 and 727 around the Balkans. Fond memories....but a lot to learn. I wouldn't dare try on PilotEdge / Vatsim.

    • @ReflectedRealitySimulations
      @ReflectedRealitySimulations  3 роки тому

Thanks Aleksander - it's a fun aircraft, but fairly high workload for sure. I know some people flying it on Vatsim, but I'd find that very difficult!

Ahh, sorry. The streams I’ve been doing have been on Twitch rather than UA-cam. If you are on Twitch you should get a notification when the streams are up, but at the moment Friday evening about 2130 U.K. time is when I aim to stream.
