Conservatives ironically hate Bezos. I have literally seen the airheads call him a communist.
@@ludovicusbathory1715 Conservatives like capitalism on paper but not in practice
@@thomasallister3446 I think a lot of them are just dumb only a small few feel the way you describe the rest are to dumb to function. I doubt they actually know what capitalism is or socialism fascism or communism or anything.
They just parrot what their monarchs and prophets say all the while they screech about freedom.
@@ludovicusbathory1715 just in case conservatives are seening this. Capitalism is the individual ownership means of production. Socialism is not when the goverment does things. Socialism is when the collective owns the means of production . Communism is when there is no state or no money or no heichy of classes. Fascism is ultra nationalism with totalitarianism and anti enlightenment. They believe in actualism.they have corporations.Which is differen type from to day.these corporations were simiar to trade unions but were nationalize. Talking about Italian fascist here.nazis were slightly difference then ltalian counterpart.
@@marvelous971-j6m The real perpetual question is how the “collective” is interpreted and actualized. To some socialists, the government _is_ a representative of “the collective,” thus “public” government control is a manifestation of socialism. Others believe that the bureaucracy and monopoly of power in the “state” is far too removed from the hands of the people, and advocate more localized, decentralized organization.
“It’s so hard to find age appropriate material to teach kids about freedom”
I mean I think schoolhouse rock is a pretty apolitical educational show that explains how our system (supposedly) works. I’m sure there’s a bunch of stuff like that.
But I guess crying is more satisfying.
It's true. Hell, Schoolhouse Rock was how I learned what bills are, and how laws are ratified. But I guess learning that kind of stuff is some form of communism, so we should probably contact our local cleansing facility to remove this information from our brains.
I’m a public librarian and parents in my (homeschool-heavy) community have requested these books. I shit you not, one of them is literally a summary/retelling of ATLAS SHRUGGED. It’s bonkers.
jesus christ every part of that is upsetting
Whats Atlas Shrugged?
A pig not being a capitalist is mind blowing to me
Narrator: Peppa wanted to tell George about the Grundriße.
Peppa: Geroge, have you heard of the Grundriße?
Narrator: George decided to call MI5.
George: Oink!!
Peppa is now under arrest for treason against the Crown.
That's actually funny lol
*Shouting Patrick Stewart Rabbit Cameo*
It makes me laugh when conservatives talk about "critical thinking," critical thinking leads a person towards leftism
12:22 “If you want to raise a free thinker, force your kids to read our books so they think the way we want them to.”

I love how conservatives never realise that trying to instill authoritarian values into edgy and rebellious kids and teens almost always develops a distain for authority
Even though that’s a harmful stereotype, yeah I do agree, but, what do they not reuse this? That trying to control others will only make them resent you?
That bit where Carl Genericman says about millions of people all working together literally sounds like an excerpt from 'The Conquest of Bread', wtf?
I go to a school where a lot of my teachers are actual socialists and i still don't learn socialism is good in schools. I only know many of them are socialists because i preach about socialism a lot and they agree with me.
This feels like a weird Fallout skit while watching this. Just make it a 1950s style and it fits. It's that cheesy
Cannot get over this is real and unironic
Comedically stupid
I'm pretty sure the American right has been explicit that pre-war America is what they've wanted for a while now.
Communism is when seize cookie jar
teaching your kids about freedom and free thinking by making sure they never encounter any opinions different from your own.
Religion and Capitalism
Wow. These books helps kids think critically. Like the Word scramble showed on task number 4. «our rights Are from God». I laughed a bit at that one
12:08 Here are some correct (though probably unintended) solutions:
1: we have girths
3: genitals is always grown
4: our girths come from god
They taught me “sharing is caring” back when I was in Kindergarten.
I N I T I A T I O N
I can't believe you were literally indoctrinated into communism wtf
"Shielding your kids from dangerous thoughts" and "making your kids free thinkers" said in the same minute.
Doublethink.
this is a definitional example of poe's law you could not tell if its satire until they explicitly went into the grift
LOL! That vibing music and the record scratch without the music stopping.
In school I was literally taught the “socialism is when the government does stuff, communism is when it does a whole lot of stuff” meme. Probably the main reason it took so long for me to be a socialist is that I had to unlearn that.
by capitalisms own rule, when the son "demands" more cookies because "supplies" have been depleted, it is the mothers prerogative to start charging for the cookies, because now the cookies are more valuable. geeze, the "capitalists" don't even know how to do capitalism...
"school's saying socialism is great!"
I feel my school is pretty progressive but even in our cold war unit the closest they got to pro-commie was "yeahhh sooo America kinda maybe commit war crimes. but hey hey hey no communism right!"
"No I won't share my blocks with you my book says that's Communism"
The closest I’ve had to anyone teaching me socialism is good is one history teacher I had who totally stans fdr and probably has a picture of Keynes in her house (I’m exaggerating but you get the point)
Also my brother was taught communism is when the government does everything (quite literally)
I live in the south so it might be a bit different other places
12:22 "If you're gonna raise a free-thinker, you're gonna need something that teaches about freedom"
In unison, reading off a script (i.e. not thinking freely): "So purchase your books now"
when i was in 6th grade civics (which was like 5-6 years ago) they mentioned communism and socialism only one time and the kids were like “wait but those sound good why isn’t america like that ?” and the teacher basically told us that it’s impossible for anyone to do without everyone dying and that capitalism is the only system that works. so at least from my experience the teachers were actually trying to make sure we WOULDNT become leftists

Great video but one correction, the guys who write this books are known ancaps, they have an entire book on Rothbard and austrian econ that explains ancap to kids. Shit is crazy

my mom bought these books for my younger siblings and they are absolutely full of shit
god that's concerning. my best wishes to your siblings.
You can visibly see the mald from the right in this ad
"Mom, can I have cookies?"
"No, son. Mommy is banned from Communist Walmart, because she refused to wear a mask"
14:55 A kid speaking obviously the words of an adult, because no actual kid would refer to other kids this way
THIS IS LITERALLY AN AD. I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE A LEGITIMATE THING LIKE A GUIDE FOR PARENTS BUT IT'S ACTUALLY AN AD.
Maybe the Peppa Pig corporation can sue them into the ground for defamation :)
So stoked you did this!
I wonder if mom charges him for those cookies?

4 "OUR RIGHTS ARE FROM GOD"
"I definetly want to be my own boss one day" thought this was supposed to be against Socialism?
"If we just get rid of all the successful people we'll finally be happy."
-Marl Barx
Actually I think that was Fidel Lennon who said that
This reminds me of a few months ago when I was with my grandfather and his wife and her grandkids. The kids were nice enough, but lived on a ranch and were homeschooled, so they had a weird forwardness and a lack of social skills. I was joking with them at one point and I said something about cavemen, and without blinking, the youngest who is maybe 10 or 11, looked me dead in the eye and said, “cave men didn’t exist. The closet thing is Adam and Eve, and dinosaurs existed with them in the garden of eden.” Blew my fucking mind man
this reminds me of an interaction I had with my insane neighbours' kids when I was like 12. I said something like "a billion or whatever years ago when the earth was formed" and one of them said "you mean 6000 years ago?" god I was stunned. Really worry about kids raised like this, I know the girl who said that to me is now estranged from her father because he wouldn't let her get therapy for severe depression or go to school (they were all homeschooled too)
3:51
Did she just do the, "I don't understand evolution, and I don't want my kids to understand it," thing?
"Don't let those commies of your public school indoctrinate your children, give them their freedom by teaching them to rely on the rich giving them the scraps they don't want, that's your obligation and duty to the government of the USSA."
They picked the most nerdiest kid they could find. And I think that was a mysoginistic joke with the jenga game.
Imagine a toddler rolling up on you and bringing up 13/50. My soul would actually leave my body.
The boy in the second book ad is probably going to either terribly regret this when hes older or become the worst lawyer ever. No inbetween

I felt the need to do all of the word scrambles and some are pretty disturbing (I can't figure out what that first word for #3 is tho):
1. we have rights
2. we have a conscience
3. ___ is always wrong
4. our rights are from god
5. true laws protect people
6. bad guys can be in government
7. we should help people
Ah yes, nothing teaches critical thinking better than moralizing some ideas as inherently “good” and others as inherently “bad.” Conservatives are so good at the words.
I've been waiting for someone to talk about this damn ads. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw one.
If you want to teach children good politics get them to read Terry Pratchett
The "Fwee mawket" comments had me rolling lol
They have to work for their cookies! Regurgitation education indoctrination!!
It's giving South Park episode.
Based Pork? Based Bacon?
I actually swear to God I was setting up a new browser and I didn't turn on adblock yet and the first ad I got was this video on a think about the halo beta
"Buy these books to teach your kids the correct way to think and reject ideas we don't want them to have to teach them how to be free thinkers 🙃"
Literal "sharing is COMMUNISM!!" memes
You can tell it's a wholesome and educational book series when the ad for it is dripping with vindictive passive aggression.
It creeps me the fuck out when they get young kids to do shit like this, it's always conversatives
