I am 59 and haven't had a true favorite band since I dunno, Pavement or XTC or something. I got in on BT with Masterpiece. Their ensemble genius, and Adrianne's generational talent as a writer, have hit me in a way that I honestly don't think I have ever been hit before. So emotional that it's almost uncomfortable at times. Thanks for this. They take take this brilliant song a little fast here, and they're cracking up at the end, and isn't daring honesty exactly what is so crushing about this brilliant, once in a lifetime band?
Partridge and Lenker have a lot in common when it comes to songwriting that is true. The little twists and the curiosity along with the passion for the songs.
If you are ever lucky enough to see them play, the love that pours from the audience to them is breathtaking, & in my opinion entirely justified. They are wonderful.
