age is so beautiful and im so tired of it being the meaning of everything to be soft and young. i want to be torn and craggled and my eyes to dissappear when i smile a mouth full of old cracked teeth. age is just the marks of everything ive loved, how many thousands of times ive smiled, how many times ive raised my eyebrows in shock or crinkled my nose in anger. age is my reward for not losing myself along the way. age teaches and nurtures and helps me let go. i get excited when i realize im sprouting grays, or the crinkles in my forehead stay a few seconds too long. i look like my heroes as i age. i will be a beautiful old man and nurture people like me.
