    The other day I told my friend abt your channel and my fascination with watching you shave and care for your beard. He told me that it's called a Fetish.

    I've been trying your brushing method out the last couple weeks - it works! My beard feels softer and more manageable - especially after sleeping. Thanks for the info!

      Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
      I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can give me.

    I'm 2 months in right now and I've kept a some what sharp neck line up until now. I'm letting it come in now to build the body I'm lacking of currently. I will also start using your technique to soften my beard because what you said in the video is true about blow-dryers, they are inconsistent with the end result.

    Never been a fan of growing out neck hair. I will trim it up above my Adams Apple but can't just let it go.

    19 years old here and working on trying to grow a beard for when my head hair gives up on me. How old were you when you were able to grow at least a standard looking beard?

      You know, it’s really hard to say because I don’t think I grew a beard out until I was around 44 years old. However, I’m pretty sure I could have done it in my early 20’s had I truly wanted to.
      Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Keep in touch.

    Greg, I subbed. You are God send. I started growing beard in May this year. I've been wanting to do this forever but hesitated because of keloid on cheek. Anyways, I bought Philips norelco multigroom 3000 and beardaholic oil. Even though my beard is thick, I want it thicker and I have the darnest time keeping it trimmed around the edges. Question, do really need the beard bam? Isn't oil enough? Is it okay to square trim roof of my beard?

    I don’t know why, but I lost it when you used the term “girth.” That’s just not a term I would ever have thought to use when describing a full beard.
    But good content man!

    Greg, so you recommend applying beard oil when your beard is damp versus applying it to a dry beard?
    Thanks for all your pointers.

    • @GregBoswell428
      @GregBoswell428  2 роки тому +1

      You can do it either way but you get better distribution when you apply it to a damp beard.

    Hey Greg - not sure if it is the angle you are facing the camera or not, but my beard is currently about the same length as yours is in this video, and I notice that on the right side of yours (on the video - I guess it is on your actual left side?) there's a little dip/kink along the jawline. I have exactly the same thing on the right side of my beard - not sure why, the other side is fine. Have you got any ideas or advice on dealing with this? I use heat and a round brush to "train" it , beard balm with some beeswax for hold - it always comes back and it annoys me like nothing else! Cheers man, thanks for all your videos, I enjoy them a lot. EDIT: Sorry just watched all of the video where you give some tips on the divot - I'll give it a try.

      Check if that's the side you sleep on, that was the trick for me

    Hey brother. What if you dont have an hour go around and wait for your beard to dry. Would you put beard oil and balm in together and then doing the combing. Great video

    • @GregBoswell428
      @GregBoswell428  3 роки тому +1

      It doesn't take that long for my beard to dry. I just get busy doing other things.
      I have put balm in a damp beard right after applying oil but I don't typically like doing that. The beard usually dries fast enough on its own that I don't have to worry about that.

      My method in the morning after I jump out of the shower, and I towel dry it the best I can. Then I hit it with some beard oil or butter, and do like Greg does with combing and the finger massaging. Then I use a round brush because I get divets in the jawline so I round them out and it helps puff the under part of the beard too and keeps the beard looking full.

    Hi Greg can I trim my mustache above the top lip when growing a long full beard ? or do I leave it for the full 6 months

    • @GregBoswell428
      @GregBoswell428  2 роки тому +2

      The moustache and cheek line are the two things I try to keep tidied up during the entire growth process. It keeps one from looking homeless. :D

    • @GregBoswell428
      @GregBoswell428  4 роки тому +4

      Yes, if you want a really full, beard with some depth I would recommend letting the neckline go. The difference is a positive one.
