I will never get over how much I love Akechi’s “Well, that was disappointing” line. It just fits so much, idk why.

We were ROBBED of Akechi Sumi showtime tbh, they had a perfect set up for it and everything 😭
I love how Sumire's one takes the form of the dashing hero swooping in to rescue the princess - except she's the one initiating all of it. She's the one who requests he come in to sweep her off her feet, and even the dip at the end is initiated by her. Joker even stumbles a bit while she pulls him into the pose! I absolutely love it.

One of my favorite little details about the Showtime attacks is the looks on the characters faces before it initiates, It's a little thing about this game that infatuates me

I still wish they did an Akechi/Sumi showtime. Imagine a game show where Sumi and Akechi introduce their guest star, a random shadow, and Sumire spins a wheel to see what'll happen to the shadow. It lands on a skull and crossbones, and the wheel falls on to the shadow before Akechi smirks and shoots it in the head. Sumi says something like "Tune in next time!" while waving at the camera. Futaba says "Same Violet place, same Crow channel!"
That sounds f*king awesome!
Saw another idea where it was Sumire as a cook bringing Akechi the worst pancakes imaginable, so he freaks the fuck out and tries to Megido her but it hits the enemy lmao.

Akechi and Sumire all outs easily became my favorites by the end of the game lol. Such an amazing game just rewatching all these. This is one of the few games that ends up deserving those multiple purchases on other platforms.
With all my live for P5R, nothing deserves to be purchased several times.

Why are you watching this video if you're at the beginning of the game
There is also variations to voice acting and a few have different continuations to the showtime. For example Ryuji and Makoto do this thing where they cause an earthquake. I have only gotten it to appear once and I have no idea how many others do different continuations.
I got this in my playthrough too and I figured out that the unique animations play in special circumstances. Specifically it seems to play on bosses that are too large to properly fit in the animation and as such a special animation from a first person view plays. Very cool that there is an entire set of animations you can miss because of this.

@@platinumwolf526 I believe that the alternate animations are usually cases of (1) targets with models too large to fit the animation, or (2) if the Showtime will actually deal a killing blow (there is usually slightly different animation and a different ending voice line if that happens).
it's so weird how akechi and sumire are very clearly meant to have a showtime but they just didn't make it for some reason.

Having everything be 60+ fps really makes the whole game more enjoyable. I still loved the game even when it was locked at 30, but man everything is so smooth when bumped up.

I got a showtime where ryuji bounces makoto into the air and she does a slam. This was to finish of Kaneshiro.
Yeah there are boss variants for all of the moves.
Man, the Joker/Violet one is so sick. And I didn't get to see it a single time since I only had the final boss left when it became avaliable. And I don't think any showtime moves can activate there. Ok, I also had a few requests at Mementos, but those were fastly done, and it didn't activate there.

Joker and Violet's showtime is my favorite. I normally skip the other showtimes, but I watch theirs every time.
You get it via completing Sumi's social link
You get it by maxing Sumire’s SL, then calling a Meeting.
One of the top favorite things I enjoyed in this game.

You can only do both in the third semester. Which means it’s literally impossible for me to not have Kasumi maxed.
It’s whatever. I’ve encountered it on my NG+ play through. I’m just going to chalk the first instance up to bad RNG.
@@endra808Yes, it was most likely just bad RNG. Showtimes have a specific set of trigger conditions and you may just never have been lucky enough to have Violet be the one for whom all of the requirements were ever met.

Joker and Akechi’s get the award for the coolest, but Makoto and Haru’s is the best for breaking out the steel fucking chair
Question have you tried playing darts with all of the consoles to see how they function?
On ps5 you have to use motion function to aim / throw the dart. It's very easy though, on switch I turn off all motion function nonsense cause it's done so poorly.
Would love a joker + any team mate one. that can only trigger if you have the persona of the same arcana.

Care Bears magic would resonate with the phantom theives rebellious spirit and passionate strength to that end especially if their Care Bears and Care Bears Stare with some of Care Cousins Call too and harmonize and fully empowered with the Phantom Theives Showtime and All-Out Attacks to ultimate crazy technique-level All-Out Attack and fully mixed their Showtime attacks added with style too

3:13 Anyone else notice they mispelled “Two Sides, Same Coin?” on the billboard behind them xD? It says “Some Coin.” Also I’m not sure if they meant “Jester” behind the word “Justice” or if they’re trying to say Joker is the more just between the two lol. I get the feeling it’s supposed to be “Justice/Fool” arcana thing though.
Love their attack though so I’m not complaining, I’m just giggling.

they really missed the opportunity to give one for Akechi and Kasumi together, so that they can both get 2 like the others. It could have even used Akechi's white prince attire to do some kind of ballroom sequence with Kasumi
I have a headcanon where Loki Akechi snorted a suitcase full of coke, and that's why he's batshit insane in the combat
love them but they really should've been subtitled for those using the japanese vo's. not a big deal but it is nice to know what they're saying

No clue how weapons work in p5, but a sword like that fits akechi very well. Looks like a symbol of refinement, but is surprisingly brutal.
Each character has their own weapon type that you can only buy specifically for them
