We are glad you all had such a great time at the Learning Lab! We are open to the public every Saturday and Sunday for anyone who wants to visit!
Thanks so much for having us!
too see the "core memory" timeline was really cool
Junt. You make my day when you geek out just like I would. EJ nailed the videography. Thanks guys! - Special Mention for the editor!
Haha. So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much to Frankie and EJ for making this happen!
@@interactii I love seeing you in your element Jon! You really should think about volunteering here from time to time, not only could they probably use someone like you around but you could also create a bunch of amazing shorter compact in-depth putersmith videos in the process.
@@RxYouthit would be great to have Jon do a regular Puter Smith show from our museum..it would be a huge undertaking from shooting to editing, it would be good to have volunteers do all the work though
We are open weekends to the publicb stop by and say hello!
Thanks again Ray for the awesome opportunity to see the warehouse and museum!
@@RedCowEntertainmentyW Frankie. You should take a poll to see of Jon should do a weekly show of him fixing consoles and older systems. He seems well versed on these items!
@@rty1955 I'm sure everyone would love that, but that level of editing isn't feasible! These are high effort videos.
@@RedCowEntertainmentagreed. I enjoy your editing skills.
Maybe we can recruit a talented person to do the editing for the Puter Smith series. You can be the great producer you are!
Leaving Nina to play Oregon Trail is like leaving your kid to the kids playground area while you go shopping.
Or like letting your son play Duke Nukem while you fix a boat!
Watching john talk puter's with the director of the place was cool and watching Frankie smile at him like a father watching his kid. i'm glad you all had a good time. There's something about those jackets though... jk have a great day guys. love the vid.
That jacket is super comfy! :D
@@interactii it does look warm and cozy
What more could you possibly want on a sunday afternoon than an expertly put together and edited video from your favourite UA-cam channel. I've been eagerly awaiting this since the first video and you guys delivered ❤️
Yes, I agree, Frankie is a good editor. He makes it move along and makes it fun and entertaining to watch.
Loved this video, great tour. I was born in 91, so my first PC was the Windows 98 - there were some really fun PC games at that time that had pretty dynamic interactive capabilities for its time (Look up Humongous Gaming). Spent hours playing those. I also remember our school’s computer labs having the older black screen/neon text PCs that they were kind of phasing out. Really enjoy seeing retro PCs.
Still can’t believe our man here was winning programming contests in 92. I figured he was my age and just got some early grays. 😂 being a child of the 80s would have been cool because you got to play donkey Kong, pac man and pinball at arcades
Just wanted to say that I found your channel through the Cinemassacre podcast clips but I’ve been slowly going through all of your old videos, love the content you all are putting out
I really love these computer retro computers are my favorite and am glad that I have 2 of them 😊😊😊
hey guys, i recently found you guys after searching for the queso Blanco Velveeta and I have become addicted to your videos! I love Junt's Cart with a passion! after a long day of work coming home and watching your videos has become apart of my routine! Thank you very much for all you guys do AND Congrats on 22k subs!
Hey thanks so much!
Honestly one of my new favourite channels!
Came across you guys on the truth and have got lost with everything else.
Cheers
That college in the beginning was CCRI in Warwick. RIC is in Providence. Glad you enjoy the Rhody!
Yes and it was indeed at CCRI
The discussion about the evolution of a hard drive's internal memory was so fascinating and informative! Great vid Red Cow crew, thanks so much for sharing
Y'all hitting it out of the park lately with these videos.
Man, I didn't want this video to end
Awesome episode, great content.
this is so wholesome, i am only 5 mins in, and you guys are having so much fun!!!!
I am geeking out over this. The next time I have a work trip to CT I will need to make a detour here
We would love to have you visit. Its free and hands on
I went here about a year ago. Great place, all the staff were friendly and helpful
This is such a wildly fascinating and fun show!
great video! love this stuff
That was lovely
You guys and gals are a treasure
BOSTON MARKET!!!! How quickly I forget! Loved that place as a kid.
You guys should really have more Junt btw
@@HPRshredder WE WILL CONSIDER THIS VALUABLE FEEDBACK
Awesome Vid!
Thank You very much for Your Work! Greetings from Germany
Being only about 40 min away on Massachusetts south coast I will visit this museum. 😻
what a great learning... experience
Very interesting 👍
Amazing! Looks like a really cool place!
Point of clarification, Rhode Island College RIC, is not CCRI(Community College of RI), which is where the computer shows were held. I miss those shows, with the deep discount pricing, and bizarre items you could find.
Great video, guys! I was far too invested in Nina's Oregon Trail game.
These are great!
Frankie I'm surprised you've never seen a modem like that because Matthew Broderick uses one in WarGames!
Amazing video! Seeing stuff likes this make me regret that my dad threw our 286 computer and amber screen :(
to see the "puter smith font again!!!!!
Lots of cool stuff, I only wish they had the video toaster set up so you could play around with video editing on it.
Tell Frankie tou would love to see a puter Smith video on Jon restoring that we can have a demo of Frankie editing a short subject on it!
Jon would make a wonderful addition to our staff
Did anyone make it all the way in Oregon trail at the end?
Junt is a national treasure
:08 that's CCRI, Rhode Island College is in Providence
The Apple IIe Duo drive!! I had that.
Good stuff.
I've been meaning to swing by here. Bald Hill road location correct? I drove by one day and couldn't believe it was that close by!
Yes - behind lazy boy furniture.
Please stop in and say hello. Its free and all hands on stuff
❤
I thought I'd enquire if they needed an MSX because I didn't see one in the other video, and then within the first few mins of this video...
Anything you want to donate would be welcome. We need parts for these older systems
Silicone 😆
That math is off by a lot! 256 * 128 =.32,768!
be careful what oyu say about Oregon Trail or a certain user will be very angry
I really hated dial up internet it was never ending bull crap
