At our local theatre, we did a 50 play anniversary and as a kid, playing some of the school boys (children) with some of my acting friends! Loved the voice of Fagin in our theatre, and Oliver, but I have to say- this is a great professional version. The teachers beat was kind of forcing but it still gave me chills of years of memories!
I am doing this musical for my fame school and I am a woman but of course I am picked for fagin and that is my solo song I have more lines than Oliver! I have 3 changes 1 my cape change 2 my normal change and 3 my orphanage look I have to look like some of the kids from food glorious food
In my local theatre group I play Dodger and it’s really fun to experiment with him since I’m a girl so I can play around with it more I think this awesome, but I’d like to see all the boys interacting like brothers a bit more, since they live together, they shouldn’t just be dance partners
SKY BUSUTTIL well Oliver is sometimes played by girls too. I mean a girl sang for Oliver in the movie and in the production of Oliver I was in Oliver was played by a girl.
drummer here, and let me just say staying in time with this song should not be as difficult as Fagin is making it seem. it’s pissing me off so much lmfao
David and the boys did a great job! He reminds me of Ron Moody as Fagin. I like this version of You've got to pick a pocket or two.
my son played fagin in his theatre group
absolutely nailed it too.
So good it is so catche it is stuck in my head and they preformed it at my classic ballet this year it was a moden dance love it❤😊😊
I saw Oliver first when I was in second year in High School. Fell in love with Bill Sikes and with Dodger🤣🤣 This version is perfect, they nailed it
Excellent musicians too!
Excelent 👍👍👍👋👋👋👋

I played a Fagin boy when I was little in a youth theater production omg I loved preforming this scene
Well done!
I’m playing Fagin at my local theater, I’m very excited about it. And on that note, I hate his pacing so much 😂
I'm wondering how this went for you, bud? Hope you enjoyed playing the role and it went down well for you. Tough role to take on.

This is one my favorite songs. I like how Fagin tries to teach them how steal.
agreed
Alexander Thompson Hamliton :D
Alexander Thompson Hamliton Hey! By the way were you a Hey Arnold fan growing up?
awesome acting im singing this for choir
That looks like more fun than what I have to do in this song...
Great Banter
That was good
The coreography is like the movie versión. I like it !!!
Cool you have to pick a poket or to

joshuadutton Hacker12 break a leg! (Sorry for being late)
Did you do a video of the fulll show?
Not trying to be mean but I kind of liked the version of the song in my school's play of it.

Is there a full version of this performance??

noeleen gamble I am too in this musical but I play as Bill Sykes even though I am also a girl
You’re got pink a pocket or two
i like how some of the choreography is based off the 1968 musical
In my local theatre group I play Dodger and it’s really fun to experiment with him since I’m a girl so I can play around with it more

we are going to do every thing for girls instead of oliver its called Olivia
SKY BUSUTTIL this is a great idea! :) It’s irritating how most leads in theatre are male characters. Love to see people helping this.
SKY BUSUTTIL well Oliver is sometimes played by girls too. I mean a girl sang for Oliver in the movie and in the production of Oliver I was in Oliver was played by a girl.
What, did you have Nancy be called Nathan or something lol?
Am i the only one who was incredibly frustrated at how out of pace he was??
Completely agree, he just didn't have the rhythm and singing in him, didn't feel natural at all
Saaaame
Yeah
Amen. Worst performance of this song I’ve seen.
It’s true it is, but it doesn’t sound bad the way he does it. It’s grown on me a lot
drummer here, and let me just say staying in time with this song should not be as difficult as Fagin is making it seem. it’s pissing me off so much lmfao
Compared to Ron moody this looks like a school production
+Sam Toombs SO TRUE

Visually stunning. Performances seem a bit safe. Wish Fagan looked more dirty and less put together. Sounds great!
This guy enunciates in the strangest way.
lol they r American!
No, this isn't my version. Give me Ron Moody, he was on his best (see the movie)
Bart
I like it but I hate it kind of because it's mean
not as good as ron moody
Afraid the late Ron Moody kinda spoiled it for anyone ever trying to play that role again.
i mean not to be rude, but duh
Oliver twist are you okay😂🌈😇🌈🌈
He's no Ron Moody but not bad, as for the Cockney accent not the best.
Hes too jerky but then again basing this on Moody performance..uncontentional
Even i could do better, sorry x
Dreadful British accents. Awful.
