It's cool to imagine which line Alex wrote...2nd verse maybe? "She's got something I can use, and I don't want to fight & lose?" 💔 Aww we miss y'all. Rip Tommy & Alex, both passed in 2010
Wasn't this the one he wrote with his bodyguard? Or am I thinking of "Take Me Home And Make Me Like It"? Either way, I love this song, it perfectly describes what I am going through now
"She might look my way' was written with Tommy Hoehn. A guy named Grafland ( not sure if I spelled it correctly) was his bodyguard for a while. Please read "It Came from Memphis" by Robert Gordon. The second pressing has my picture in it with Alex at the Like Flies on Sherbet session (Peabody records). That book tells all the stories about the punk years in Memphis. I think Grafland's first name was Danny. I need to dig out my book and read it again! I'll post some pictures and stories soon from the era . I can't believe Alex passed 14 years ago. He was only 59.
@@elisecliftonklitz Oh nice, I'll check out that book when I get time :D alot going on in my life now A true loss to this world... Alex was one of a kind, versatile in any genre of music and could write songs that really get to you ("Third/Sister Lovers" is one of my favourite albums of all time)... not to mention, a huge influence on my own music
Thanks Kevin
This is so damn good.
Tommy and Alex rip. Great song🎶

Tommy's version is quite pristine and beautiful as well! 💕
