I have owned my Lemon drop for 4 years. This is a Granular synth which I have MIDIED to my Micro-freak. I have created some very incredible Ring Modulated Pads, with full motion Via the two control knobs viewed in the X/Y screen. This instrument is not hard to use or understand, and fits in perfectly with my experimental music. The Lemon drop has become an invaluable tool in my work flow. Top of the morning to you SYNTH SAMURAI !

I miss the days of wandering through all the Daddy's Junky Music stores in New Hampshire, and playing all the Vintage synths on the showroom floor. Keene N.H had Retromusic another incredible store that at one time had Prophets, Mini-MOOGS, and just about any Vintage synth you can think of, those were my Hay days and I truly miss that. Thinking of you EchoKraft !

But there are three Guitar centers in N.H., one in Portsmouth, one in Manchester, and one in Nashua. At least they carry synths, new and old. Wonder what synth you bought 🤔 Love ya Brother Man!

This will make a fine addition to my Lemon drop Granular synth. I plan on sampling the Lemon drop into the Texture Lab. Also there was a piano organ store in Dover New Hampshire I bought my first brand new KORG at, that was a MS-20. The top floor of this store was just pianos and organs, this was in the seventies. This store also had a basement level, with just a tiny sign at the doorway that said, "More downstairs." So I wandered down to the basement level and what did I find? POLY MOOGS, brand new MICRO MOOGS, all kind of MOOGS just waiting for someone to take them home. There was a sign that said, ask about the pre order KORG's. This was is where I bought my first KORG, an MS-20. Had to wait three months to get that synth. That was my first experience with a brand new synth, in which I recorded with on a SONY reel to reel tape machine, using sound on sound. Yep those were the days my friend, and the start of my long journey into synthesis. I trained at an early age with music theory and endless piano lessons. Since then I have also learned how to play wood winds, and have and use the Yamaha WX-11 in my experimental music. 🎹🎛🔈🔉🔊
I had a deepmind twelve and updated to a rev2 16V.... no comparison on the sound and quality, and the the DM12 keybed feels like a 10 dollar toy.... REV2 has not great Fx but I also have a Virus Ti2 and can route the Rev2 through it as a separate effects channel.
@@synthsamuraiproductions Its a beast but not perfect... it can do all the usual techno ( ua-cam.com/video/zmid1KYFBJU/v-deo.html ) in its sleep but also it can do this stuff which is pretty unique ua-cam.com/video/aQpo3KZFnN4/v-deo.html and also can be warm like this... ua-cam.com/video/tskGFRXRyLU/v-deo.html .. yes I am a fan of depeche mode and with my Rev2 16V running through the Audio Input I can assign independently my effects to the REV2 and play the Ti2 at the same time... let me know what you think..

@@synthsamuraiproductions interesting. To me a mint Jupiter Xm at the same price is slightly preferable for someone with a Hydrasynth since both respond to polyAT. Takes up less space and for a once and done 2 minute time investment the Hydra macros are mapped then you never have to touch either again. Comes with more models; add the vocal processor and MAYBE JD800 and you are done. The JupX exclusive model is more interesting than the JunX IMHO. For serious patch creation Juno is a bit less painful, but neither is good. Zencore is DEEP and these synths are VAST. Patch creation on any of the 3 instead of an attached PC (where it is a joy) is strictly for the masochistic.

The Juno has an updated/enhance Juno X model that can only be used on it and both Jupiters have an updated/enhanced Jupiter X model (the more interesting of the 2 IMHO) that can only be loaded on one of them.

Way cheaper bought 1000$ used. And more intuitive UI with all same sounds pretty much available
