  • Patrik Berger believes Jurgen Klopp's love affair with Liverpool as a club and city can be the driving force behind a remarkable Premier League and Champions League double this season.
The Reds are currently two points clear at the top of the table, having played a game more than Manchester City, and have a presentable opportunity at a second successive semi-final appearance in Europe's premier competition after being handed a tie with Porto in the last eight.
Klopp's side beat the Portuguese outfit 5-0 away last year before safely negotiating a goalless draw in the return leg and the Reds will be big favourites when they meet Sergio Conceicao's men next month.

Absolute legend for Liverpool. He has a powerful left shot.

Was Roy Evans a great Liverpool manager? Speaking as a neutral, I don't think so. His time as manager looked like one big under achievement. One League Cup in '95, an FA Cup final defeat in '96. A 3rd place finish in '96. That's about it.
He was an improvement on Souness, but that wasn't saying much. The 'Spice Boys era', while Man Utd were much more focused on success.
The 90's under Souness and Liverpool was pretty much a wasted decade. When Houllier came in they got more serious and instilled more of the winning mentality that had been missing since Dalglish.
