As someone who experienced this : i know you miss them, and that they made you happy but people grow apart and you probably experienced that here are some signs of growing apart : 1) barely talking or not at all as said in this video 2) feeling closer to other friends 3) the friendship making you more sad than happy ( a best friend is supposed to make you feel happy, like you can tell them anything not sad, and like you have to review every word you speak to them or else they’ll act like you don’t even exist for weeks) 4) walking on eggshells when talking to them If you relate to any of these signs you may have to take off the ‘best friend’ label or even friend all together in specific cases In my personal experience : me and Ly met around 2 and a half years ago ( have not talked at all for 6 months) the first year and a half was great we commented on every single video the other posted,we made jokes, put heart emojis in our comments etc but a year ago we started not talking as much i was like : ‘okay, i,m a bit sad but this not gonna last long, we’re gonna go back to normal soon.’ And boy was i wrong, the next 6 months went by like this : I wake up, i check notifications to see one from her, i did my morning routine, i kept on check and checking and checking i reached out myself she didn’t answer, i cried and listened to break up songs my mom told me ‘Lili you guys haven’t talked in [however long it had been at that point) a friend that makes you unhappy is not a friend, it’s an old friend. Me ‘but mom she’s special to me 😭’ but the day after the 2 year anniversary I accepted that it was and i'm glad that it was over because i didn’t wanna live that way reading into every word she says The moral of the story is : if you feel like this, the friendship is outdated

This is me ,i had a very close friend who cared about me,but i was inlove with another friend who didn't even care ,i put my effort to her ,i cried so much for her,and later dumped my close friend,yet she told me she was Hurting ,i never understood her pain but all is well i lost all friend the close one and the one i fighted to be with ,am now fully introvert , don't know what will happen when we meet somewhere in life

This is so true just recently I had one of my best friends who started acting really hypocritical and even though we both did she told my other friend let’s call her skyler well she told skyler that I had been talking about her behind her back (which I didn’t) even though all I was doing was saying that she was being really rude and the even worse thing was that my best friend was lying acting like she had never said that and I was the bad person but a lesson I’ve learned is that people who do that don’t deserve you and if they do this well sucks for them and a message for people going through this out there
