Thank you so much … because of stress, I have a very tense jaw and shoulder (and scalp!) and also the verticals muscles around my nose are prominent because apparently I’ve thought it’s been cute to scrunch of nose my whole life 😆 so I really want to heal myself to relax! And also change the way the muscles in my face work. I am determined to wake my cheeks up!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽 they have been totally overpowered by the others and I DONT want to keep being recommended Botox and filler I want to heal my body for the better 🙏🏽

Yes, that is definitely the challenge here. I’m pretty confident that, with regular practice, your muscles will learn and soon you will feel like you are nailing it. For example, my Mum found it so hard at first and is now a pro at it! Let me know how you get on x
Hi Michelle, ah I’m so pleased you enjoyed it! For under eye you need to be so gentle. For massage you can use very soft touch strokes starting from the inner corner, using your ring finger (which tends to be more gentle with us). The best thing to do is The V exercise which will strengthen the orbicularis oculi muscle and in turn will help to tighten the skin. Hi Julia. Our lips get naturally smaller with time due to aging and losing muscle mass and skin plumpness. We use face yoga exercise to improve and maintain muscle strength and skin health. Which exercise are you referring to in the video please? If it is the one where we purse the lips, the work is only in the cheeks. Let me know and I can then help you a bit better with technique x

The first one really helping me cause I have the cheek muscle in one side stronger than the other side..so now I can feel the life coming back to it But the second exercise I don't feel any muscle moving when I do it..am I doing it wrong??
Hi Abeer, yes love the first one too! The second is brilliant but has to be done correctly. It is really important to imagine the air is like a solid ball and the cheeks are working hard to transfer it from side to side. The air is the resistance.
Hmm I don’t think so. When we stretch our body that doesn’t cause sagging skin, if anything it tightens that skin because it works it out and increases blood flow. It’s amazing how our skin works.
Hi Patricia. I don’t have one specifically for droopy eyes uploaded but I will so keep an eye out. In the mean time, keep in mind that a combination of forehead and eye exercise and massage techniques will help with that x
Hi Caroline, my apologies for the delay in responding. 1 minute is enough to build and maintain strength. If you want to add time to your routine, I would advise you to add new exercises and massage so that you are targeting more muscles and nourishing your skin.
Hi. I am a side sleeper too. Daily face yoga can help to bring balance so keep practicing, but also remember most of us are asymmetrical anyway and there is nothing wrong or unnatural about it. This is quite a common difficulty you are experiencing with this pose. It still works if you need to fill both cheeks with air at the same time. Let me know if that helps x

Hi. The exercises are designed to improve muscle strength, therefore maintaining lift in the area and will really help with sagging cheeks. The massage boosts circulation which will help to keep the skin attached glowing and healthy too. Hope this helps x
Sunken cheeks are a natural result of fat loss in the cheeks, which can be due to aging and weight loss. It is not possible to replace that lost fat with face yoga but we can build muscle in the area which, if done daily, can help to build volume.
Is it normal to feel the masseter muscle while doing cheek exercises? I feel it more than actually cheek muscle and I’m worried as I don’t want to build the masseter muscle
Hi Paulina, during these two exercises you shouldn’t be feeling the masseter muscle. I would need to see you practicing the exercises to understand why your masseter muscle is engaging. My advise for you is to be aware of whether you are tensing your jaw and try to release it during the exercise.
Hi, don’t worry, this technique is very different to playing an instrument. Also, the skin is attached to the muscles in our face, so by strengthening the muscle in this mindful way, we help to tighten the skin attached.
Yes you can definitely do this at 48. I’m 46 if that helps to know. Practice Face Yoga daily and you will experience a difference. What that will feel and look like will be unique to you.
I so know this feeling! It comes with practice I promise. It takes time to disassociate the muscles from eachother. We tend to smile with our eyes and cheeks at the same time so it is hard to break that habit. Keep trying x

people keep saying do it every day and you will see a difference but why are you not telling us how long before we see a difference this is what puts me off doing face exercises since it could take 2 yrs to see a difference nobody is telling us a goal we can work towards its off putting

Hi, it is a tricky exercise but for all my students it has come with practice. It’s just as much building a relationship with your muscles as it is building the muscle itself. It will come with practice ❤️

i have asymmetrical face little longer from one side and shorter from other bcoz of sleeping on one side.
