I dont know if the range is the same across all platforms but on xbox it is right around 950 meters. you can gauge the range by using the distance to close by objectives as an indicator as to what you can reasonably hit or cant. this is very helpful for ground targets but for higher elevation it usually goes out the window.
This is a very good video dude!! It's good for all those NOOBS out there when they fly the chopper. PILOT has to hover around and NOT to go get kills. GUNNER has to get the kills either TV missiles or the machine gun.
The video quality even with 720p wasn't really crystal clear / clean. The audio tracks selection was really good though and bonus points for not being a jerk and actually listing their names in the description. Good job on the TV's, enjoyed the video. :)

Competition in BF3 has died awhile back. Most of the rivaL guys are playing the Planetside 2 beta or waiting for PS2 to come out. You can go to rivalgaming. org for match history.
these fuckin things are so hard to master!! also you need good communication with the pilot, or like me you just get bored and fire them at the ground, hoping there is someone there that you cant see lol XD

100 levels come to farm low levels with tv .

It was pretty OP after the patch made it so you could 1-shot tanks. It is fine in its current state though.

at first, they are hard to control. just practice on empty servers and you should be fine after a day or so.
