The other key to making bus off-road worthy is height raising per corner traction aid. It is second most important factor after being able to flex in middle right & left + up & down.
The bently claims to be the worlds fastest tracked vehicle at 123 kilometers per hour. Snowmobiles are a tracked vehicle and high powered ones top out much higher than 123 kph.

Two smaller tracks, each with a separate half size electric motor or hydraulic motor if engine operated and dual hand controls for each side would make a great go anywhere personal transportation device.
It is far from the first and only heavy duty all-terrain bus in the world. It looks very much like the Australian built OKA Bus.
The Torsus will be the go to vehicle during a zombie apocalypse.
I'd love to play with any of these, but the price of most would be way out there, when they're even sold... One wild offroad vehicle I'm planning to get though is part of a newer segment that's been evolving a lot the last several years, and that's the Kingsong S18 electric unicycle! Takes some practice of course, but less than you'd expect. This model has a mountainbike shock for soaking up bumps on the trail or when it's cruising at up to 50kph. I just need to beat the heck out of my Inmotion V8F and learn the ropes well before I move up.

In regards to the Khomyak, it has no suspension, and it can't be steered. People have been trying to make a "tank motorcycle" for a long time but there are considerable obstacles to such a vehicle. There are indeed ways to make a single-track tank motorcycle turn and even lean into turns, but it's very complicated. To affect a turn one could use a the track warping technique employed on the British Tetrarch light tank and a number of other tracked military vehicles, where the track itself can be bent into a curve, facilitating a turn. As for being able to lean into a turn, one could employ "snake tracks". This was a 1920's British invention where every track shoe was made to pivot laterally like a seesaw, the idea was that this would allow a tank operating on broken ground to gain purchase on uneven terrain that flat tracks would struggle with. If you combine these two ideas, warping the track to facilitate a turn, and snake tracks to facilitate leaning into a turn, there's no reason you couldn't make a tank motorcycle, but as you can imagine, making such a machine would be very expensive and require a lot of nonstandard parts you couldn't source from elsewhere, and at the end of the day, would it really be more capable than just a regular 4x4 wheeled ATV? Would it be more capable than a Rokon 2 wheel drive fat tire tractor motorcycle?

TechZone you folks did a very good job on this video interesting I definitely saw some stuff not seen before and really interesting! I am a Unimog person and when I saw the MOG from the US I thought what the heck is that about, is it an actual Mercedes Unimog under all the nonsense? And why in heavens name would you put a petrol engine in it, thats just plain stupid in my bood Mercedes builds wonderful Diesel engines to heck with gas!!

If the frame of the off-road bus is U shaped w/1 u frame member being wider than the other. Even if it articulates up & down the U shape frame members stay 1 laying on the other up or down The smaller member for up front shorter frame member can u box. Bc the box frame member on each side is narrower then rear U shape member the diff in wider between the long U & front box is how much it can articulate right & left. So a 1ft wide U rear frame that has 6" box frame wide will hve the diff to articulate in the middle. The box frame can b taller than width so still plenty strong. It is key pnt in long wheel chassis system then as much travel per tire but 2nd key is being able to raise each corner to gain traction.

That tank motorbike thing doesn’t steer. I would think that would be a problem, because that’s a deal breaker for me. If you notice in all the clips it only shows him drive in a straight line.
The Shatun looks like a copy of another Vehicle.......the Sherp perhaps?

Torsus bus needs to articulate to really shine off road long length kills u off road so anything helping get more turning or flex is key. If it can flex in middle right & left AND up & down it is truly a special bus then.

the fat tread hunter big needs the track to b just a little longer to really gain from tread design, bc even a ft more russian fat tread will dramatically improve traction.
short tread means only can carry stuff on your back but if 1ft longer then machine can help carry stuff too.
