I think that the Laika Taiga would be an ABSOLUTE BEAST here in Alaska. But, that's just my opinion. Would still like to be able to afford to buy it, I believe that I would enjoy the experience.

Anyone else notice how the Chevy off-road concept that they "designed" looks an aweful lot like a freaking Halo Warthog lol
I would like to comment on the questions about practicality for some of these vehicles: We have many vehicles right now that are impractical...but FUN! If you want to strap yourself into an airframe with tracks on it like the cage and go out and have fun, who cares? As long as you're not wrecking the environment, go and have fun. Also, many of these vehicles with huge wheels would actually do less damage to the terrain than their smaller counterparts because they would have fewer pounds per square inch. I live in the part of the US where we don't get a lot of snow, but when we get it we REALLY get it and I would love some of these!
Think the issue is more the promise of practicality for some of these vehicles. All Terrain and some terrain are pretty different standards.
The last one looks really cool.

The Laika would be good for search and rescue missions in the mountains/back woods here in Wisconsin, or as well as good for clearing snow

The Laika Taiga looks like the vehicle in the movie "Damnation Alley" but fitted with tracks.
I don't really consider the second one to be an al terrain vehicle.
to me is a definition of an Al terrain vehicle.

next all you need is a jet powered car that can hover on a cushion of high pressure thrust, essentially low altitude flight, zero friction other than velocity compressing air causing drag. its more than possible
Tata sumo is the best if it comes to off road or all terrain. Without any new gen technology, pure mechanical.

That 1st tracked vehicle appears to be a knock-off of the Rip-Saw by Howe & Howe.
That's a veh for Alaska . Tracks perfered 😉 w/ military build up at north pole. It needs a 360° for a gunner. Other than that it looks like it would move fast in Alaska..🤔the Alaska cage 500 speedway ?
I'm surprised more cars aren't made like #2 the Kangaroo with adjustable suspension lift......Made to sit low for improved MPGs on the HWY but able to lift for more ground clearance on rough country roads & snow.
Actually Lincoln has been making cars with air-ride standard since the late Eighties. It breaks down after a certain time and is overly expensive to maintain and repair which cannot be avoided.
I just moved back to the rural area I grew up in when riding dirt bikes everywhere. I picked up a bike for my business, (and to get back into shape a bit), and now I see I am not allowed to ride it anywhere off road anywhere near me.

luckily i was born an all terrain vehicle ...
it's amazing, i was born with these things called legs and arms, i can pass where no other all terrain vehicle can....especially if i have my climbing gear and flippers...
i also have devised a new type of transportation system that works on a gravity storage combined with near zero vehicle mass .... walking paths and zip lines.

Electric Vehicles will never workout for the American Blue Collar Workers 🇺🇲 until the price is affordable and each electric vehicle has at least 1,000 miles from every 10 to 15 minute full charge. Until then the gasoline motors 🏁WIN🏁.
I live in Illinois I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado Z71 not garage kept and yet it still fires right up and gets me from point A to B. I'm guessing a Tesla with it's Computer everything won't last that long especially once the temp drops below 10 degrees. I watched a guy show how to drive a Tesla and to go forward and reverse you have to swipe a touch screen monitor. The first thing I thought of was extremely cold weather and how well touch screens work, I like electric vehicles I think their great what I don't like is when your force them on people but that's what's happening

The Chevy Silverado is now available in Grand Theft Auto Online as the Declasse Drauger. It's expensive ($1.8M) but a lot of fun to drive
The last one, the Cage, reminds me of Luke's land speeder in A New Hope. Only with tracks! Imagine if that vehicle's eventual evolution was actually a hovering land speeder!

1:59 "and 89 pounds of weight" uh, what are we measuring exactly? The weight of the scooter, extra cargo, the rider themselves? I hope it's option two somehow as opposed to the others, because very few people can readily lift 90 lb of weight, and I think even fewer weigh less than that themselves
The scooter all by itself is almost 90 lbs(batteries are heavy, especially enough batteries that can make a scooter go almost 40 mph). Also at $6500 you could get a pretty decent dirt bike and have a lot more fun imo.

@@shaldurprime7154 Totally, because a 10 pound chassis sound more reasonable for a scooter. The battery pack has to be a decent size on it for that weight to be up there.

Right, for people who don't want to give up thier dreams of affordable building! Wait for it.......... when guy tells you it has a cromoly frame and you take a magnet to it making you 100% ashured its steel and you can weld it yourself! Anyway, this does help to keep building except from what I remember it really does detract if your not careful! They make you think they have space age devices that don't even exist! Check your local scrap yard
