I'm so glad you addressed how the NCEES practice exam question on frame determinacy is solved. I've been chewing on it since Thursday and still didn't feel confident until you addressed how if you split up the members then you count the hinges as joints. They didn't do that and I was not understanding how they got their member count. I resolved it using your method a couple of times and I feel like it makes so much more sense! thank you! -Alyssa
