The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (32), Nathan (30), and Kendal (27) Peterson. We are 5th generation family farmers who farm together in Kansas with our parents David and Marla and our wives BrookeAnna (Greg's), Riley (Nathan's) and Caelan (Kendal's). This channel is full of videos about our family farm and what we do to take care of animals and grow crops. Our videos range from our entertaining parodies, to our hilarious comedy videos, to our informational vlogs. It is our hope that these videos will give everyone who watches them a better understanding of what a real family farm looks like. We try to be as honest and upfront as possible in our videos and our posts and hope that viewers will realize how much hard work goes into farming. I feed almost 600 pounds of black oil sunflower seeds to my birds every month in the cold months, thank you and all the other farmers who grow them. The birds are really suffering with all the horrible 'development' in my part of eastern Colorado, and they need all the help they can get. Thank You!!!
Glad to see you getting rain
Very informative and lovely and at the end the beautiful scene of rain , every farmers dream thanks guys
Love them sunflowers birds too😊
I've been feeding my wild birds now for about a year and use a mixture of black oil sunflower seeds (just like the ones Greg had a handful of in this video), along with other kinds of seeds for them. They come together in a 5- or 10- lb bag, as that's about all I can lift at a time. I just scoop them out with a measuring scoop and put them on the bird feeder. I also give them some tiny pieces of wheat bread too so they can feel full through the winter months. Thanks for showing us those beautiful sunflowers you harvest!
Great video Guys, glad you got some good rain 🌧️👍
Great pictures in the sunflowers 😊
Wheat will like that nice rain!
good to see the sun flowers
Enjoyed watching the video guys😅
Good to see the rain. Will help the wheat. I like the sunflowers, even though you don't make a lot of money it is nice to see.
Another interesting video. Thank you for taking the time to share this video with us. God Bless.
I always wondered. ♥️
You need to buy some deer tags and get a little bit of your money back! 😁
great video guys. thank you
look good you lucky got rain we did not get rain😀
Sunflower seeds are very popular in my country
Im not a farmer but is that a normal amount of FOD in the sample from the combine? Seems like a lot but what the heckkk do i know
👍👍 🌻
Do you hunt the deer when in season?
Is there a difference to having black cows versus brown cows?
Don’t see very much sunflower where I’m from because all the old timers say the oil makes it a combine fire waiting to happen. And seed oils aren’t very good for you to fry in.
Does it help to drag chain from combine to minimize static electricity to minimize chance of combine fire?
I’ve seen lots of farm videos where they do drag a chain
Yea there was a small chain dragging from that combine.
Looks like lodging is an issue with your sunflowers
Yes with the dry weather and the wind we’ve had they were falling over. They were pretty drought stressed.
@@PetersonFarmBros Is that why I haven't seen sunflower seeds in any stores for 6 months (drought)?
Hi Greg, It goes without saying, that this is none of my business, but why is not Mom mentioned in your intro, is she not part of the farm anymore? Moved on?
Or Is at home with Dad and just has nothing to do with it?
She is in the intro picture and we say we farm with “our families” which would include mom! It’s the 3 brothers and Dad who do most of the farming , but all 4 wives help out especially during harvest. Our sister and her husband live in Nebraska.
@@PetersonFarmBros,, gotcha, & ya we see Mom in the picture but she is left out of your intro, so,,, was just wondering .
Thanks and God bless all.
@@theda850twowhat do you mean left out of the intro? “families” would include Mom.
