First time I’ve seen sunflowers 🌻 harvesting. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Clayton Batten same
This header was really cool. Sunflowers are beautiful when they are blooming but wow are they a rough looking crop before combining. Thank you.
I never missed one video of yours, the food you made for your family looks very delicious and healthy, you are blessed to have an extraordinary talent, thanks for sharing your life with us
Thank you for including the pictures of the sunflowers in bloom. I love the fields of yellow.
My wife and I were just in South Dakota at the end of August beginning of September. I could not believe the fields of sunflowers. It was beautiful and unbelievable at the same time. Thank you for sharing and giving some insight on your farm.
Thanks for sharing another excellent video I always enjoy sunflowers going through the season and then get Harvest hope you have an awesome day.
The sunflower Drone shots were incredible.
I grew up in Haviland and rode with my dad in wheat harvest and driving sunflower seed to Dodge. This is really cool for me. Thanks for posting
You are awesome. Thank you for sharing this. Great information. Hope you stay warm.
Very interesting! I love fields of sunflowers in bloom. Great picture of the couple standing on the bales with the sunflowers and sunset in the background! Love it! God bless!
This is just great! Been looking around for videos to show my 1 year old about harvest - he loves tractors! We live in Germany but I grew up in Kansas so you can imagine my joy to find your video! Love how you show the whole process with even taking it to the silo! Thanks for taking the time. We will have to come visit the sunflowers when we are back at some point!
My Dad used to raise sunflowers in the 80's. He had some real good crops but then started having disease problems & quit raising them. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a field of sunflowers here in west central MN. Thanks for the video.
Hi form Argentina! Very proud to see an argentinian piece of machinery up there! I can tell those are great and very popular headers.
Thanks a lot!
Nothing looks more awesome than a sunflower or canola field in full bloom.
This is my first time with you. I was raised on 400 acres of milo/wheat farm in north central kansas back in the '50's, 18miles north of Belleville and 4 miles north of a little town called Republic. Miss all that. But our equipment wasnt modernized like todays are. Good to be with you.
I am sorry about the early snow. Thanks for showing this to us.
My first time watching. My grandfather and I raised sunflowers when I was a kid this brings back fond memories. Was well worth watching. Luca
Interesting to learn about dragging the chain as a grounding measure! Cool! : )
Do appreciate your're sharing this w/ us. We appreciated it. Tom George, Garland, Tx.
It was neat to see that! Thank you!
There’s no prettier crop than sunflowers. 🌻 Such a stark contrast from summer to fall. Looks like the head did great.
Hello from Hutchinson. This is the first time I have seen sunflowers harvested. Thanks for sharing.

First time watching sunflower harvest-great job.
I live near Sacramento, CA. We have many fields of sunflowers here....right next to the tomatoes and almonds. I love driving by them. They always make me smile.
Really good job, very informative and impressive, you farmers are the backbone of our country
This was really cool to see. I never knew that the sunflower seeds were harvested after the flower was off. I ❤️ Sunflower seeds!!!
Beautiful when in full bloom! I appreciate what you do and working in snow. I like south Texas as little to no snow.
I learned something new today! Thank you for sharing!
Here in Canada can go from building a snowman to rain all in the same day🙋 wow the shoot took the seed's out fast nice👏
You had me at drilling a cover crop. Well done guys. Looking forward to more videos.
Fun to watch the sunflower harvest. Thanks for sharing the great video.
I love seeing stuff like this. I stopped once and watching the harvesting of cotton out in west Texas.
Awesome video, first time seeing a sunflower harvest. Thanks for sharing. God bless you mightily.
Really enjoyed this nice sunflower harvesting.
First time we visited your channel. I enjoyed the sunflower harvest. Always wondered how it was done. Your flowers were beautiful. Thank you for sharing
wow that was neat. my chickens love sunflower seeds and the field in bloom looked amazing.
New subscriber here. I live in Arlington Texas but love the country lifestyle. I'm an Army Veteran that was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas. Love your channel and looking forward to seeing more! Good job man!
nice video I've watched a few videos of sunflower being harvested but this is the first one with camera views that actually show how a sunflower head works.
Awesome, thank you. Never seen sunflower seeds harvested before
Good to learn about the static discharge device (chain) for harvesting sun flowers would have never known!
Neat video! That header looks like it would be a good potential investment for next year. It’s also nice to see true crop diversity in Kansas besides just corn, wheat, and soybeans.
Very interesting video, the tech/engineering in the machinery is really something to watch. Thanks for sharing!
See you guys Thursday hopefully.
👍Very Interesting. Never seen Sun Flowers being Harvested before.
Nice video and amazing picture of the sunset and sunflowers in the background. I always wanted to see how sunflowers are harvested, nice machine.
My song birds are very happy with your new header!
Munching on some unshucked sunflower seeds while watching this. Beautiful :)
And the comment about dragging chain to avoid static fires. Very educational :D
Enjoyed it very much and first time seeing a combine harvesting in snow I hope you ll have a better yield in the future thanks for sharing
Great video! First time i saw sunflower harvest with a combine neat! keep videos coming.
Cool machine. I love sunflowers they make good feed for animals, birds and humans. We can't go wrong with sunflowers. They also help out the bee's.. My good helper to for my vegetable gardens.
Plants are awesome!
Wow sunflowers are light!
That's awesome, thanks for sharing....
Thanks for the chain tip!!👍
Excellent video very informative beautiful sunflower trails I would love to come there sometime.
Absolutely intriguing and much respect 🙏
Loos like a very interesting head on the machine. I know nothing about sunflowers as we grew wheat, barley, oats, corn for silage and grain both, alfalfa and 200 head of black angus. Very interesting video. Thanks
Now I want some sunflower seeds! : ) Just a heads up...the music is just a tad too loud~
Drone shots are amazing!
I'm impressed. I've never seen sunflower harvest until now. That is neat. Should have got a green head lol.
Great job
Thank you so much for sharing
God Bless America
Thanks for the video, I've never seen sunflowers harvested before.
Your video was so awesome thank you so much for sharing that!!!
Oh that interesting!!
So you're the guy who works that amazing Lindsborg sunflower field. It's the best one I've come across in KS.
Kansas is a crazy place. I was at Ft. Riley for a year. VERY interesting!
I always wondered how sunflowers were harvested. Thanks!
I've gone so long of not knowing how it was done until today when I was eating them. Plus You are handsome! Thanks for the video!
Nice to see your drag chain - lots of folks still think those are a wives tail. The last time I sent my 9500 to town for repairs they told me they weren’t sure what I was towing but I must have lost it on the way to town. Kidding of course - the old timers know what they are for. I’ve never had a combine without one.
What a great video. This is all new to me in northwest missouri.
Never seen sunflowers harvested before, thanks.
I love feeding BOSS to my horses and goats. Energy and omega acids help them keep weight and make the horses shine through dirt. Not just for the birds! It's good to see how the seeds get in the bag
Awesome
Excellent video. Very well explained in all facets of sunflower seed harvesting. Enjoyed video very much, thank you.
Never saw this till now. Wow
This was very informative, thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed seeing the harvest. The header is definitely worth it. Pay off on the equipment would take a few seasons, I'm sure. Grew up in South Texas harvesting Milo. Filthy stuff, especially when the air conditioner quits. We were harvesting a field that had blown half way down, and you had to run with the wind to pick up the heads. I had a quarter inch of grain dirt all over me when I finished the day.
Where I live we have two seasons, Spring and Fall. Last summer my son and I planted 2 different varieties of Sunflowers in our backyard Garden after having his school sunflower fail the year prior, one being Russian Gigantic, which grew to 12 feet high, with a head about the size of a water melon
Thanks !!
Fantastic video
Nice header.
Great video, I really enjoyed seeing how its done
Another good video great job
Great video Nice looking header
Saludos desde Argentina muy bueno girasolero
Great video!
Interesting video thank you for posting.
A Farmer here in the U.K. (Yorkshire) made a Maze out of Sun Flowers as a visitor attraction for the children
Nice header and video.
Very interesting ! Thanks !
Thanks for your Video brother
love it
Just subbed. I'm by "the big city". I raise sunflowers in my yard for fun, the beauty, and next year to compete in the state fair. I'm just sick of this 90 plus weather with hardly any rain !
Nice video. I often have to walk through sunflower fields for my day job so seeing them mowed down was oddly cathartic. They will scratch you to shreds if you are not fully covered up.
Great video. Thx👍
good job!
Yes!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video sir!! From Missouri
Came over from your recent video. Very interesting!
Thanks, I have always wondered. So many Orientals came to a local farm after seeing it on Video, they had to close a Highway . A couple miles of NO PARKING signs.
Interesting header. Great you do not need to straddle rows. Chain dissipates static electricity. Good to know.
What's an oriental? And how come so many were there?
@@jamesswanson7213 Apparently many from Pacific Rim countries consider them good luck.
Hey Great Video...
That Sunflower Head looks Amazing...
And can reduce your harvest time by at least half compared to the way you stated y'all have harvested in the past...
Should become a Great Asset to the Farming Operation if y'all can keep it or get a similar one like the Demo Model...
Thanx for sharing...
