    The points made were great but the beat needed more chaos to match up with a Scaring the Hoes song.

    • @brokenenglishprod
      @brokenenglishprod  Рік тому +1

      Thanks bro! I actually turned down the chaotic energy as I was envisioning a rapper screaming over it! But yeah it could definitely be more chaotic.
      Maybe you can download my project file and remix it. I would love to hear what you come up with!

    Why does nobody talk about how Peggy produced the entire fucking album on an sp404? Makes it 100 more times impressive how he pulled all this shit off with such a limited piece of gear. Albeit I love mine but damn how the fuck Peggy?

    • @brokenenglishprod
      @brokenenglishprod  Рік тому +7

      I know idk how the fuck he does it. It is actually insane. He said he purposely made beats on it for an entire year so that could also be the reason. I’m now thinking if I should force myself to make beats on the OP-1 only for an entire year haha

    Great video Man! This has to be one of your best.
    Dariacore is interesting. I have about 5 scrapped tunes that sounded like that and I scrapped them because I thought they sounded too nutty.
    Music is what is in a person's soul, and I think you have captured that in your channel. We don't need expensive "stuff" as they proved in the tunes you used here, just a passion for creating.... well... something. We need music theory, as was explained to me by my 9th grade Music Composition teacher, also a dude named Frank. He says we need the knowledge to help recreate what the artist intended. He pointed out that people without knowledge of chord shapes, compatible melodies, etc, create all sorts of beautiful tunes around the world on "instruments" they create themselves because something in their soul has to come out. Frank's teachings have stuck with me for 50 years or so. So I love it when musicians "Just Do It!"
    Again, great video and great beat. Thanks for making it.

      @brokenenglishprod  Рік тому +1

      Frank sometimes the wildest shit you make might out turn out to be something amazing and worth finishing.
      Hopefully the next time you at least put it aside and save the project. Hahaha
      I will always be grateful for you brother. If you are ever free we should hop on a call to chat. :)

      @@brokenenglishprod Hahaha. You don't know me very well... I still have those scraps somewhere.
      We should talk sometime... What's the time difference? I'm on the East Coast of the US. I should be more diligent on being on Discord. I'm still procrastinating on getting my Naver account started... I want to mail a bunch of promo stuff to a couple of indie South Korean record labels. I'm making some melted record bowls with "fake" labels from some of my own tunes. The records are scratched colored kid's records from the 50s and 60s (I think I had a few when I was that age) . I'm also burning my own promo CDs. I made a label out of a clear decal and it looks cool. That with a cool diorama cover pic would make something great to send along to the record company. I'm also sending some of my t-shirts from my Spreadshirt and Spring stores. If nothing comes from this, I am having fun creating the stuff.
      But this is what independent artists need to do to stand out from the crowd. I was at a record event in NYC years ago (side note- I was working as the daily truck router for Domino's Pizza and also the assistant transportation manager. My routes for the next day were all done by 9 PM, I had to stay until 11 PM. That night I drove very fast and the two and a half hour trip into Manhattan happened in 1-1/2 hours. Anyway, I met the band and they had a bunch of 45s pressed up with their tunes on both sides. We were well into the CD age by this time, for sure. The band had made hand made jackets and inserted a bunch of Polaroid pics of the band. All 200 copies were hand numbered. the people had friends and family help assemble the "kits." I still have that record, and it shows what a little work and creativity can do.
      Anyway- I lost my place here.... I think I'm done talking....
      PS- look up nacoco music here on UA-cam. Who even is this?
