Any St.Louis skin is indeed an instabuy, not even having to think about it. Hottest ship in the game, and the rest of Yunsang's babies are just as good for the most part, what an incredible artist who knows exactly what strings to pull. And not to forget the incredible performance of her seiyuu.
I'm the same way with St. Louis, I understand. Always happy to see Yunsang do more work.
The only negative thing about these skins is how they still don't put the textbox next to them but rather than on top of them for some reason
True, I've been wanting that for a while. But I will say they made the text box smaller and more see-through on the main lobby, so it's not as obstructing.

I think they're just overhauling all the bits of the UI separately. I wouldn't be surprised in the archive and other pages get revamped in the future. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for a Mogador fix!

I picked up the Alsace skin, but that St. Louis skin is sooo very tempting. It she was an Elite I probably would, but I just don't use Rares enough to warrant the expense. All and all, though the designers at AL have really turned up the heat on their skins. Despite up and comers like Nikke, Snowbreak and Brown Dust 2, they remain the kings of gacha ecchi.

The two ships got me interested in playing AL, so I associate them with each other. I didn't pull either until about two years after I started. Now, I am going to be thinking about building St. Louis...
Nikke's skin is good.. if only they didnt charge 60+ bucks for one of them.

Yeah, it's easy to confuse the lower rarities. It's not like you'd be using most Elites all the time away, but I still find chance to bring them along for low oil cost event grinding and such.

Goodness gracious! That skin review was NUTS! Straight up @GuardianE I am oathing Alsace, Mogador, and Brennus! I plan to by event's end have 7 new oaths where my total is 260 oaths! The others are IJN Tosa, HMS Manchester, HMS Penelope, and Hai Tien!

I usually only spend money on the 30 dollar packs for these events and use the gems from it to buy one of the l2d skins and keep the rest for dock space. I'm so glad I got the st Louis skin from the random skin from the pack and bought the Alsace skin with the gems. Perfect 2 for 1 deal.

When the skin review is nearly 40 minutes long, you know it's good! Tose are some great, spicy, set of skins! Especially the L2D skins! I am not sure if I am going to get any of them as I don't have the gems to buy any yet...Maybe I'll cave in and buy some gems? I am not sure...But I am tempted...Because good lord those are some good skins. Always love the swimuit skins! And they have really been upping their game with the interactions!
There was so much to cover with this one. The skins were really fantastic. So well crafted and designed, and the interactions really bring you right next to them. Easily worth gems, in my opinion, especially if you have any of the 2X bonuses left, or the lucky bag.
Need that r18 version. 17.5 isn't enough
Really enjoyed this showcase! Just picked up Mogador's and Alsace's skins and I have no regrets after seeing the secret interactions. Love this direction Azur Lane is heading. Keep up the quality commentary man.

Very surprising on how these two batches could bear such elegance but also an extra gigantic ton of spice on it...
I didn't messed too much with the animations coz i'm waiting for the second batch to see'em all at once,but ended up getting Alsace's with the ticket,that ball minigame is really cute and i really like how she stares at you too. BUT,certainly my favorite from the batch is Harbin's,how i love this shipgirl!!! I'll wait for the black friday to see if i can get it there. I also like Brennus' a lot

Alsace's skin and personality are wild. Manjuu: "What if Kashino, but French battleship android?" On one hand, mighty mighty warship; on the other, the most delicate of cinnamon rolls, surpassing even Helena herself in a variety of dimensions, and I do mean dimensions. I can only shake my head and laugh.
That said, Mogador's skin is next-level lewd, and while I personally don't appreciate all the levels, I'm sure there are those who do. I don't know how future L2Ds will top any of the three we just got, including Lewdis' latest outfit, but I'm sure I'll be amazed to discover when they do.

AL hands down has best L2D skins and probably also the best pricing. If only this was industry standard lol.
They are in a class of their own when it comes to L2D. They've also always been uber f2p friendly. Even their monetization is fair.
Mogador was easily my most wanted ship of this event. I got her on the 2nd day. (Cleared both normal and hard, and a lot faster than I usually do.) probably not get any other skins this event. Yeah so only Mogador and Alsace.

The previous 2 Months and this Month was so crazy for me that I have to save my money and not to spend in this game, hopefully the next month I can recover and save some money to spend in this game. I don't know what I did during those time but hopefully it was for good or not. I have to skip all the cutevents to rush everything. Now I need to look for videos in YT to see the events since the events are not in order at the archive books.

You should give it a try! It's free, pretty casual if you want it to be, and very f2p friendly. A great primary or side game.
The inconsistency in the saved L2D settings in the St. Louis skins can get kinda annoying. I set her at the preferred zoom level where she takes up most of the screen then the next day when I open the game she's so zoomed in that half her head is cut off. Still my main secretary though.
Ah interesting, I haven't noticed any issues with it. I wonder why it's shifting for you.
You're probably choosing the wrong button to adjust the zoom level, i had this issue before but i fixed it now. Theres another button next to the one you're probably pressing

They added a new Option in the Game Settings for Fixed L2D Settings a little while ago. It'll remember the last position and options you chose for L2D if you have that enabled.

I just started a week ago, i already got alsace's skin now im deciding whether buy mogador's or st louis even though i dont have her yet
St. Louis you'll definitely be able to get over time just by grinding/daily pulls. Mogador you'd have to wait a while for unless you can get that grind completed today. But both skins are pretty incredible to have for whenever you do acquire the ships. Good luck!

Yeah, I added a disclaimed in the video as I was going over her animations. They loop indefinitely right now, but I'm guessing it'll be patched soon.

I wasn't expecting Azur lane to embrace the sex appeal so strongly in this patch, it came kind of out of nowhere, but it is absolutely welcomed. I think all these skins are jaw draping, specially Saint Louis'. Alas, I don't feel particularly strongly about the ships themselves so I am not getting them, that been said I already bought Tosa's from the second wave and regret absolutely nothing. geeze. all these skins are basically sex on the boat lol. but i have to remember not this game's target demographic. but i do hope that Alsace gets a normal skin down the road. (I am still kind of bummed that her default skin is just a ribbon for the top especially when you look at the draft art). i was actually going to rent Alsace's near the end of the event and maybe get it for black friday if it wasnt too out there, but your showcase kinda crashed those dreams lol.ah well get to save on gems.

Not yet, but it's really not too bad. It just loops the animation until you reset the screen. It's actually kind of nice if you want to watch a particular animation a few times in a row.
