Aircraft Battle Suspicious Brush Fire in San Diego

- 11.15.2020 | 1:50 PM | SAN DIEGO - A suspicious brush fire broke out in a canyon that has had frequent fires due to homeless encampments. This fire burned approx 2 acres and was called a 1st Alarm, plus extra Water Tankers and 2 SDFD Helicopters. It took firefighters approx 20 minutes to get control of the fire. The fire will under investigation. The on-ramp from Home Ave to northbound I-805 was closed.
No injuries to firefighters were reported.

Another fire? I didn’t think there was anything left to burn in Cali! God bless the firefighters and protect them🙏! Suspicious, I can’t understand why anyone would want to destroy the beautiful forests. Thank goodness they had the aircraft help and were able to contain this fire from spreading! Kudos to the helicopter pilots and the ground crew!
Pretty sure it was suspicious being that the local bear population was social distancing and hasn't had access to cigarette lighters
