I love watching this process! It's good to know where my livelihood originally came from. My back couldn't handle that type of work. But the simplicity is what appeals to me the most.
I was visiting my friend in Ireland and she had this cube of soap at every basin and the bath. I have very sensitive skin and react poorly to anything with a strong scent or detergent. I'd being using liquid castille soap for ages because of the sensitivity. It is much more expensive and honest this just suits me better. It might not be what everyone wants. It is what I want and they will have my business for the rest of my life. It cleans all of you without your skin feeling parched. It's just a really great, simple ingredient product that is worth your money 😊😊❤❤❤😊😊😊
I love that you stick with the natural process of soap making and if that is available in my country, id buy it, really! These would be one of the few things id get with only natural ingredient and made by traditional process.
this soap is effin amazing. I got some recently for 1.60 USD at a "middle eastern" market. there's an extremely mild scent of olive oil when you're using it but otherwise zero smell. my skin has been chapped and cracked all winter. I have used the soap once so far and my skin already feels softer and smoother.
I bought a bar of this stuff off Amazon and just tried it. I'm a picky soap person, I don't like the moisturizing stuff like Dove and the rest dry my skin out too much especially in the winter months. This is perfect, right in the middle. No perfumes or chemicals either is a good thing. Also if you people have ever been in the factories that make the products (even food) you use everyday, you'd probably never buy anything again. They're not nearly as clean as you apparently believe they are. Anyway yeah this is my new favorite soap by a mile.
A lot of the bars of "soap" sold today aren't even soap.....they're bars of synthetic detergents. There are so many artisan soapmakers that film for youtube, and it's also not really difficult to make. To watch this "hot process" procedure in miniature, look up Essential Soaps on you tube. She's an all natural, all vegetable soapmaker. If her soaps have a fragrance it's essential oils. and if they have a color it's a spice or herb or root or something like that. I make soap, but I like my fragrance oils and colorants, so it's not all natural by a long shot. It's also not all vegetable.
@@rtsyfrtsy924 - it’s a shame that you like your fragrance oils. You might want to delve a bit deeper into those - they are neurotoxins among other things. This soap is excellent and I love that it’s handmade in a traditional way. Very nice silky lather and no it’s not dirty at all. It’s made in a similar way to Aleppo soap.
