I find it weird that Mighty and Ray are here because while they did make their official return in Sonic Mania Plus, that's only in the Classic Sonic continuity, or as I like to call it, the split alternate timeline caused by Sonic Generations. They never returned in the Modern Sonic continuity, so it's weird seeing them here along side the modern characters with their modern designs. I usually expect this sorta thing from fan-made stuff because it's pretty common for fans to include stuff like this in their projects, but this was officially made by the Minecraft team with Sega themselves advertising it and lending a hand in it.
It's a bit saturated, you can't feed or pet the chao, and there's no racing or karate, but you don't even need to glitch the stage to break out into the ocean so it's got it's pros and cons.
