Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. The only thing I would have asked for it to make it clearer that the perk which increases killcheck frequency also makes them appear in random places on screen as it might not be clear to everyone from the little clip you've shown

Anyone who’s played Alan Wake 1 will find the fact that Alan gains any kind of speed boost hilarious 😂
Well considering that survivors move hella slow in the realm compared to killers this “speed boost” might just be his average speed in his actual world
That man will run a whole 30 feet and will act like he ran a marathon
I prefer to think of this as the reason he has a lot more stamina in Alan Wake 2.

I liked the type writer aspect of this very cool and fits his story
The fact they worked in how the flashlight works and the QTE's for using generators from the first game into his perks is amazing and kinda genius.

This has to be the most unique spotlight trailer they have ever done for a character. Alan doing his own partial narration, a typewriter being used to type his perk names, and that shot at the end when the trailer became the promotional image was quite tasteful. Well done to whoever made this trailer! 👏❤️

As long as the Entity can keep Wake away from a typewriter and not mess with its realm, I think things will be okay for it. Maybe not the other people in the fog, killers included, though a fight between The Dark Presence and The Entity for Wake would be pretty epic.
There’s a what if scenario I want to see. Maybe When the Entity snatch Alan it unknowingly left a breach where the Dark Place/Presence can seep through, and thus allow Wake to wreak havoc.
@@TimeCircleBlueor maybe the entity is just another creation of the dark place, they are not going to do anything else cause this is dbd, but i really like the idea of his stay here could be actually canon!! (if u are a freak like me xD)

Because if he got yoinked after that ending whilst trying to return to the real world:
1.) He’s PISSED

I love Alan Wake ever since the first game. And he looks just like Jake Gyllenhaal in this trailer, one among few of celebrities I respect. Thank you, BHVR! You got me a reason to play DBD more often than usual now.

Scratch NEEDS to be a new killer

At the beginning i didnt want to play with the other two perks pf Alan wake but the spotlight made me want to just play them, great job behaviour
Now we gotta have Mr. Scratch somewhere down the road. An ability that can change the layout of a particular section of the map. Make it so they have to get the clicker first to make larger differences like Pinhead. Lore wise, I got no idea why the entity would let in something of the same power magnitude since Mr. Scratch is just a personified version of the dark presence as Alan, but what does BHVR care.
It's epic how many horror game protagonists we have as survivors.. now all I want is Miles Upshur from Outlast

Would be really great if developers added The Dark Place map, or some sections of it. Or and other characters as well as Alex Casey, Saga Anderson and Mr. Scratch as the killer. But that’s highly unlikely.
To be fair, the Dark Place isn't one specific area; It can....kind of be anything it wants. Also, Scratch ain't happening.

Killer idea THE SCRAPBEAK
Hunt showdown
Power: scrap bombs
Use 4 different bombs with different effects
Concertina bomb (same as the game): leaves razorwire that can block any intractable objects and inflicts hemorrhage and hindered.
Nail bomb(mason jar full of rusted nails with dynamite tied to it): wide range, inflicts deep wound and in 20 seconds broken
Beartrap(not a bomb): limited range throw, acts like trapper, only holds for 7 seconds
Seed bomb(a bottle full of bird seed) survivors covered will be swarmed by any crow they are close to revealing their position

These two perks are a dual edge sword
Champion of Light - Blind the killer gain speed, that is IF you can blind the killer.
Deadline - Get injured you get more skill checks, if a killer has a perk that can mess with skill checks, big oof.
Best Perk imo
Boon Illumination - helps team locate gens and chests along with a speed boost on cleansing and blessing totems
He doesn't get a speed from blinding a killer. He gets speed from using a flashlight and slows the killer if he blinds them.
@@kaof-1958 you get more skillchecks while injured and they are harder to hit, but the penalty for missing one is smaller. This perk is good with Autodidact or if you can hit great skillchecks.
@@kaof-1958 You start the game with 25% penalty for skillchecks while healing (when you hit a skillcheck you lose progress). Every skillcheck gives you 15% bonus healing and after 5 skillchecks it gives you 50% (-25% + 75%) bonus healing (you can heal someone with just 2 skillchecks). This perks is weird, bcs in one game you can get skillchecks at the start of the game and have really fast healing and in another you won't get any skillchecks.

Still, these are some nice new Perks. I, for one, might enjoy Illumination since I use Detective's Hunch quite a lot.

Man, I love Alan Wake but it's been like 3 years since last time I played DBD. Is it really hard to adapt to the new perks/killers?
It's been years since I played, I think this may bring me back.
"my eyes are beginning to adjust" is actually a fantastic line for Alan after the end of AW2 and potentially leading into AW3.
ya know... it was one thing to bring in Silent Hill, it was another to bring in Resident Evil... but man.... talk about going 3 for 3.... I'm more than motivated to get back into this game! Alan might just be my new favorite survivor!!
I'd say, to maybe keep up this trend, add in one of the protagonists of the Fatal Frame series (to keep in tone with the two Japanese ghost killers), and maybe Isaac Clark, and you'll have the perfect celebration of survival horror franchises!!

There needs to be more reasons to prestige a character past tier 3 like a reward for each time you prestige a medkit toolbox flashlight the higher the prestige the better the item and for killers like offerings and add-ons or bonus blood points

imagine putting the madness tier III effect willingly by yourself just in order to get that hyperfocus skillchecks faster... and all in the end to miss one of them and get an even more catastrophic handicap

Jesse as a survivor would be awesome, with a skin for Pope or Dr. Darling. The Hiss could be an awesome killer too, possessing idle soldiers around the map would be pretty awesome. Maybe The Service Weapon could be a new item of some sort

New crossover idea I’d wish to see in game: The Last of Us 2. 2 new survivors being Ellie and Joel, both with a reskin for Dina and Tommy. New killer would be a clicker or some kind of super clicker with no approaching tense music, just louder and louder clicks
