they do a very good job it just takes far too long. They need more people working on it, the game should already be finished with how long they have been working on it. Other games that are like it and fairly new compared are already past them in some things, sure they are nowhere near the quality but that are further and more playable.

@@Frostbyte115 one way PoT has pushed past is visually it looks good, everything looks crisp in comparison to Evrima like sometimes Evrima looks grainy (I just bought a top of the line PC after my last one burnt out) PoT is also on Mobile, Console and PC and it's Cross-Platform so you can play with anyone no barriers. Obviously there are far more dinos but not only that they even allow modding so on top of the playable dinos that PoT has officially, there are community modded dinos that are actually pretty high quality where some seem just as well made as the official dinos. The devs also listen to player feedback and will add things if a lot of people want it added. I for example asked for them to allow as many playable slots as how many official dinos that were out and after maybe a month it was added in and I could make 1 of each official dino on each server if I wanted. There are plenty of areas where they could improve tho like combat is good...but there are mechanics that I wish they had that Evrima already has like raptors being able to latch onto prey to attack or deino's being able to grab things and pull them under water to drown, or small dinos being 1 tapped like how a carno can bite a hipsy once and it's in its mouth dead. BoB the only thing I can remember that I liked honestly was it has good weather/natural disaster type stuff....other than that it's pretty bad, visually I felt like I was playing on like a PS2.
In my opinion if the devs think they are going to take too long before being satisfied with one dino to release, i’d say just release it even if its not fully complete and keep working on it on each update. Cuz it feels like their giving so much hope to the community but hardly ever releasing one playable is just killing the game, just my opinion
Hopefully we get something by the end of the month. Devs are already 2 months late on troodon considering we were promised to have it by 2023. I feel like the evrima playerbase is starting to die off a little bit rn so a new playable would not only be nice but its kinda needed rn, we have had the same meta for like a year and a half now 🤣
Don't care, until Ceratosaurus is added I doubt anyone is gonna be interested. It's a real hard miss that they're so focused on adding dinos nobody wants to play, since they'll suck.

Same could be in The Isle equals it is potentially realistic since it is known that we dont have many skeletons or other DNA samples of Spinos equals more modification needed and on the other hand the Trex didnt had to be modified as mutch as the spino since we have a lot of Data about Trex (a lot more than on Spino). So this means the Spino burrowed a lot of other DNA from i guess Rex, Giga, frogs and other animals to fill up the missing parts of the Spinos missing DNA strand. All these changes makes it result to look visually different compared to the Spinos ancestors

Spino definitely have the "Evrima" look. Fits in perfectly. Big question is if they will remake the t-rex model, the model can't be more regular then it is. It either needs feathers, or something new added to the model. The blank body it has from legacy..it wont hold up honestly. Great content bud. Love it, straight to point, no bs.
Idk I think it looks beautiful and has even more weight to it. Maybe give the young feathers that fall off? Maybe customized jaws from the three subspecies irl.

The Tyrannosaurus had absolutely no chance of sporting feathers, it’s too large and the dinosaur would overheat and die, at most you’d get a lil bit of peach fuzz as seen in Prehistoric Planet.
Spino is one of my favorite dinosaurs. The head seems a little high up but over all looks good. Maybe a little lower to the ground and it would be perfect atleast in my eyes.

It's actually good that the devs take their time and polish the game and fix most of the bugs and make the game playable and somewhat fun with little dinos we have.
Well ceratosaurus is still trying to be fixed but it has been too long ,for spino and ovi they are just some old animation when someone asked for it to see if it is being worked on,for the apex I think it's safe to say that trike would be the one to be tested on the most since it's the first dinosaur to be tested when evrima was still in development.i really hope they don't ruin it's concept art and it's animation .
Hate that it doesn't have a paddle tail. Hate the long Jurassic Park legs. Hate that it's not a water wader and swimmer. Hate the Evrima Spino. Ceratosaurus is wonderful though.

I can’t wait to play as troodon I have always loved playing as hypsi because it’s small and fun running away from predators and since troodon is basically the same height as hypsi it’s going to be sooo much fun
Yeah exactly, it's not exactly something to make it fearsome too. At most Carno's will just drive by slam it or bite it and Utahs will just run circles around it for days. I always thought it was going to be a fearsome corpse stealer, but honestly I feel like it's going to be outclassed by the already established dinosaurs. I'd of rather they gave it a Lethal hold, like if it gets you, it just deals massive damage, making people think twice about letting it get too close because escaping it would be harder than avoiding it. I honestly think Cerato is going to be so underwhelming, since it's low HP and low damage, and it's slow. The only benefit it had in Legacy is obsolete in Evrima with alt biting. So we'll see, maybe I'm wrong and it'll be a force. But at this point my hopes are low for this game entirely.

Yeah good luck slow poke, the Carno's and Utahs will run laps around Cerato all day, it'll be sad to watch... Ceratosaurus needs a fighting mechanic, not a nuisance mechanic. I would've went with it performing some sort of lethal choke hold on it's victims, like once it gets you, you're fucked! Would've made Ceratosaurus feel like much more of presence to be wary of. I recall it was supposed to be something of a corpse stealer, a slow bulky bully. But it's not really going to live up to that reputation when it's gonna get flat-lined in every fight and leave the victor with a runny nose... Just no.
If the infection causes vomiting the others will loose stam and nutrients. However I also am annoyed because they brought up the myth. How about vomiting into their own mouths and then biting? Corpse stealers and eaters usually have very strong bacteria that can melt metal. Then bite and infect them.
Competely agree. Cerato needs a powerful attack to fend off an even bully Carno's from their kills. Without it then the sickness is just a minor nuissance to deal with after a fight

@@SirSilk77 Well be a little more realistic, Apex is last on their agenda's as we've barely gone through most of the mid tiers. With an expectation of 0-2 per year, I'd say expect trodon and beipi this year, maybe cerato and gali next year and then herra and diablo after that. 4 years later, it might be a possibility but even that's a stretch for apex. They still have bary, allo, alberto and acro to keep us busy for many more years to come, which is only the carnivores half. We'll be getting more herbi's in time too, to balance the roaster, so I really doubt we'll even see trex in less than 5 years, hell maybe even less than 10. So saying maybe by the end of this year is just a huge mistake dude. I seriously doubt this game will exist for another 10 years with fresh players, it's old as it is and they got nothing to show for the time spent funding their project. I'm willing to bet in 10 years we'll see another dinosaur game that surpasses this one emerge and everyone will abandon The Isle entirely.

They’ve already changed Utahraptor to Omniraptor because they can’t bother adding feathers or removing their raptor JP III bait. Whatever, we’ll see how it goes.
spinosaurus redo is disappointing to me... just doesnt look like a spinosaurus. at least the changed their utahraptor name to omniraptor since its not representative of the actual dinosaur... all the other designs look really nice too, just sad to see spino didn't get the same treatment and just made a monster :/

Love the content man and also they been having the walking animation for the spino already but now there actually working on it but probably wont be released later on in the future but hopefully rex is an AI LOL because man rexs are gonna be overpowered SMH!

Me personally want to play as my favorite dino, I understand what your saying but with some balancing like his speed and maybe clumsiness of fulling could make it good and far 🤷🏽♂️

@@SirSilk77 Try more like 2-3 years from now, your hopes are way too high for this dev team. They've already proven we can expect maybe 2 dinosaurs per year. Sometimes none.
@@ReinertZerker i just tried to be optimistic mixed with a slight note of realistic. Nothing to again jump on the game and me to say it takes way too long to update which I dont deny and that I am a fool for believing that could work
@@SirSilk77 Well be a little more realistic, Apex is last on their agenda's as we've barely gone through most of the mid tiers. With an expectation of 0-2 per year, I'd say expect trodon and beipi this year, maybe cerato and gali next year and then herra and diablo after that. 4 years later, it might be a possibility but even that's a stretch for apex. They still have bary, allo, alberto and acro to keep us busy for many more years to come, which is only the carnivores half. We'll be getting more herbi's in time too, to balance the roaster, so I really doubt we'll even see trex in less than 5 years, hell maybe even less than 10. So saying maybe by the end of this year is just a huge mistake dude.
I seriously doubt this game will exist for another 10 years with fresh players, it's old as it is and they got nothing to show for the time spent funding their project.
I'm willing to bet in 10 years we'll see another dinosaur game that surpasses this one emerge and everyone will abandon The Isle entirely.

Spino looks.. Ugh. It looks like it’s going to be able to fight T-Rex, and appears to be JP III bait. I wish people would stop making Spinosaurus some big powerful dinosaur, it’s a fish eater. They’ve already changed Utahraptor to Omniraptor because they can’t bother adding feathers or removing their raptor JP III bait. Whatever, we’ll see how it goes.

spinosaurus redo is disappointing to me... just doesnt look like a spinosaurus. at least the changed their utahraptor name to omniraptor since its not representative of the actual dinosaur... all the other designs look really nice too, just sad to see spino didn't get the same treatment and just made a monster :/

The game was released 2 dec, 2015. Its been in early access for 7+ years and it is still not playable. Its a grift.

So where is Spino now? Game is crap since Gateway, it lack fun of Spiro, mostly its just simulator of walking and wating in prehistoric woods.
