They judged Matthieu so unfairly. They expected him to go above and beyond just because he specializes in prosthetics. They should’ve judged his work in relation to the other contestants’ work, not his background in prosthetics.

I can’t believe Nikki made it that far. She was consistently showing the judges bad work, and honestly compare to Tiffany and Belinda she didn’t deserve to be in the top 3. But on the brighter side the winner of the show deserved it! Soo happy for them.
Yes! I don’t think its Nikki’s fault however. The competition structure is pretty unfair. Like how in a majority of cases, the only thing that decides if you’re eliminated is your technical precision. They don’t even look at your portfolio of work throughout the show. Which makes someone like Nikki able to get through lots of rounds of face off (since her speciality is glam and technical makeup). It was so frustrating to see how Nikki’s creative work was mostly less good than the other contestants, but the only thing that mattered was that she could do an eyeliner or lashes. It was most prevalent with Tiffany and Belinda, where they consistently delivered better than Nikki on creative/professional assignments yet was eliminated only due to their lack of experience in glam type makeup. I think the final should have been Ellis, Belinda, and Tiffany (or Leigh).
On Nikki's channel, she made a Q and A video about Glow Up. One if the comments said 'You should have won, not Ellis'. Much to my surprise, Nikki gave the comment a heart, and I thought that was unfair. When Nikki had a breakdown in the second to last episode, Ellis comforted her, and then she does that.
Right? And whenever she was in the face off she just gives her “best” work. Also because of the fact that she can’t do time management and her pieces I always found boring. It’s ridiculous they kicked off actual talented people like Belinda and Tiffany
Stopped watching after this episode. I can see they keep Brandon around for dramatic effect. He underperforms every challenge, yet somehow it's someone else who is sent home. Mathieu was way more deserving and is more interesting to watch imo.

It's just all so aggressively in-your-face fake. Had they kept Mathieu or even Dina from ep1 rather than Brandon, the show would be a little more believable.
Tbh i think somehow brandon did out the competitors in the face off ....even with dina his black lips were symmetrical and had more pigment. And with mathieu his work was lovely but comeon lets be honest it was to faint and was not visible from a distance.

Paige has SUCH A BAD ATTITUDE. She thinks that she knows everything. She corrects her teammates and won't be told anything. She is NOT a scriptwriter or storyline writer!! It's her JOB to obey the director and the scriptwriters, not to try and override them. The way she manhandled the actor, getting him into the feathered pants.....I'm appalled.
She was quite young and this whole experience was new to her. Now she knows what her role is as an make up artist on show/play. Plus she had little trust in her team after the whole thinner debacle.

I don’t understand the purpose of the stupid red chair??? So what? Did what they did in the challenge earlier didnt matter?? Like its okay i messed up here.. i can always redeem myself in the chair. Seems to me the stupid chairs are more important than the challenges. The heck?! I’m so mad mathieu got eliminated, he did so well in the challenge but somehow the stupid chair… urgh
