Chaga tea, fatwood and the danish wood stove

- My dog and me spends a day finding chaga and fatwood, and makes a cup of chaga tea at a danish wood stove made from a pine log.
The third tree with chaga, i harvested it last year. You can see that it is growing back. Always leave some chaga on the tree so it can grow back. Don't boil it, it will ruin some of its abilities.
As you can see in the video i drank mine a little to fast and the tea is still very light. The longer you let it soak the better the tea is. A lump of chaga works as long as it gives color.
Chaga is that natural material that by far contains the most antioxidants, and a lot of other good stuff.

The best fatwood is found in the roots of a fallen pine tree. But the first 5 - 10 cm. of a branch closest to the tree will also work fine. ...not all roots or branches contains fatwood, so saw several.
The Stove:
In the beginning i had the hole away from the wind becourse the wind kept blowing it out, when it was lid properly i turned the stove and had the hole against the wind, for better air suction.
My Dog:
My dog is a labradoodle. She is half brown labrador and half black/white toy puddle.
Her name is Musen (the mouse). She is almost 5 years old. She always has water available. And most of the time she eats better than me.

i'm glad to see Denmark's forest from your UA-cam Channel
This is my fav video yet!
Never occurred to me to seek fatwood in pine root. You were very confident the wood log would split straight! I like the pot stand off's. You show again that nature provides if you know where to look. Thx for sharing!
Great video! One of the main reasons I head into the woods is to harvest chaga. And finding my own fat wood is a fun challenge... pine stumps always seem to have the most resin saturated wood.. but are harder to find. :)
I like your new format.. actually I like all your videos. Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
Good one as always Sir! Learned a new method of firetorch, the Danish way!
you are the best Soren.i lik very much your colours..and your videos
Thanks Marta :)
I prefered Bertram's videos, but since I've seen all of his videos and he didn't publish anything new lately, I came here to see your feed. Honestly, you're closer to "my world" and not so "savage" which is great. And the dog! Got a new subscriber 🤜🏻.
Очень душевно! Собак замечательный👍🐕
