Don’t worry about wether or not people will like you posting constant queen videos… because I can guarantee everyone will love to watch you discovering all their classics, so keep them coming 👍🏻👍🏻
Edited to add… once you get to know their songs, watch the movie bohemian rhapsody. It’s all about the rise of queen and it leads up to their live aid performance 👏

I should have wrote that differently. He was never a trained dancer, but the musician never shied away from collaborating with dancers and choreographers. Mercury teamed up with The Royal Ballet back in 1979 for a sold-out concert.

Autotune didn't exist when this song was recorded. The members of Queen (Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, Brian May, & John Deacon) were so amazingly talented that they actually sounded better live than on studio recordings. Even though Freddie was the lead vocalist (his voice was astonishing) but Roger's and Brian's voices are also better than most lead singers in other bands.

Freddie was master of the stage he was not just a frontman/singer he was very much a performer. A lot of his movements on stage are not just a front but very much done with timing and meaning for the band. When you come to watch the live aid concert you will see he can very much control the audience and the thing was they were not even a dedicated Queen audience either. Freddie was an absolute artist in every sense of the word!

You should react to 'Somebody To Love' by both Queen as well as George Michael's cover version of that same song, Joel. It shows Freddie's versatility in not just his songwriting but also his singing and George's cover version of it is just fantastic as well. 'Fat Bottomed Girls', 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', etc show his 'rocker' side whereas 'Somebody To Love' shows his more sensitive and romantic side.
Unfortunately 'Somebody To Love' was omitted from their Live Aid performance but it didn't stop them from completely stealing the entire concert especially when you consider that there were 70,000+ people at Wembley Stadium on that day and they were all clapping along in sync with their hands above their heads and with one other during 'Radio Gaga'. Incredible.
On a more upbeat note though 'Bohemian Rhapsody' ( the film and not the song ) is premiering on Channel 4 this coming Saturday, 19th February, at 9 p.m. and Rami Malek won an Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie in that film. I can't wait.

Great reaction! Fun little fact , This song is written by Brian May , the guitarist , who completed his phd in astrophysics in 2007 , Yep , He sure is a man of culture
Since you seem to not know many of the band members name , let me clear it :
    Freddie Mercury : Lead Singer
    Brian May : Guitarist
    Roger Taylor : Drummer
    John Deacon : Bassist
All of them play multiple instruments and every band member has wrote multiple hits for the band and three of them sing lead or backing vocals on almost every queen song
Talking about reacting to more queen songs before live aid concert so it doesn't spoil anything
You may want to react to the studio versions of the songs performed at live aid before reacting to it
The songs are mentioned below :-
    Bohemian Rhapsody (already done)
    Radio Gaga
    Hammer To Fall
    Crazy Little thing called love
    We Will Rock You
    We are the champions

Another fun fact about Dr. Brian May was that he released one of his most recent singles here in Joel's home state, a few years back!
"Musician Brian May has released the song he wrote in honour of NASA's New Horizons mission, which has successfully received information from a space object 6.4 billion kilometres away.
The Queen guitarist, who also happens to be an astrophysicist, wrote a song called New Horizons, his first solo work in more than 20 years.
He debuted it at Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md., early New Year's Day."

Joel, perhaps watch the film 'Bohemian Rhapsody' some time. Made in 2018, it'll give you a good idea of Freddie Mercury and Queen's story. American actor Rami Malek won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of Freddie. Freddie Mercury is a legend and an icon for fans here in the UK in particular.

That's my theme song, lol If you like Queen, try The Who. A great rock band from way back, playing raw rock with no fancy tricks. I recommend starting with an early song "I can't explain", or "My Generation". Members of the original band are still working, and there is a tour planned for this year. Old rockers don't retire...they just go deaf.

Hi Joel, love your reaction videos. You are a joy to watch. I'm not the biggest fan of rock music but there is no denying Freddie Mercury and Queen are just phenomenal. There is actually a 2018 film called Bohemian Rhapsody that is about Queen and Freddie Mercury. It might be worth a watch if you can find it on a streaming service, not as a reaction but just for you to learn more about the band if you are enjoying their music.

Nice reaction, one of the notable things about Freddie is the costumes, there is almost one for every release and they are all stunning, ive been to fancy dress parties where people have worn different freddie costumes.
Another favourite for me is the soundtrack to the 1980 s flash gordon film. Which they did. Incidentally it would be interesting to see you react to Brian Blessed (actor ) who is another British Treasure.

When you have some time and If your interested in learning more about them the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” was released in 2018. The film tells the story of the life of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the British rock musical band Queen, from the formation of the band up to their 1985 Live Aid performance at the original Wembley Stadium. Such a great movie that taught me so much about Freddie and the band. Enjoy!
