    I think I prepared well. I purchased a home in 2020 in Accra, and then purchased some land in Asebu where I'm building my retirement home. I visited Africa the first time last year in September 2023 for 30 days.

    I’m so happy you got a wife. I clicked on cause you alone with the child worried me😂😂. It’s the mom in me.❤ You’re right about the mindset. Thats highly important. I’m a NYer.(African American) Prolly the Americans with the biggest egos not to mention a Western mindset to an extent. 😂 But I knew I couldn’t go over there with this mindset. I tell everyone before they go there. It’s 100% different so don’t compare or expect.

    It is essential to ensure that you have a contingency plan in place, such as funds to return to the United States or other Western nations if necessary. Outcomes may not always be favorable, and that is acceptable. Having a strategic plan is crucial.
    Additionally, individuals often overlook the importance of acquiring the local language, regardless of the country. At a minimum, consider learning French; however, in regions like Eastern Africa, proficiency in Swahili can be particularly beneficial. This effort will prove to be highly advantageous. Investing in language skills is one of the most valuable decisions one can make.

    • @_T3andMe
      @_T3andMe  2 місяці тому +1

      Yea that’s true! Swahili is very important! Especially over here in Tanzania!

    First advice: make sure your female is cooperative with you and not extravagant if not find one that meets this criteria if you still cant try going solo; then only you can follow the rest of the advice.
    Plus stop telling people you are american or european, or else you will be a good target for financial abuse or theft. Find a way of making them believe you are one of them and nothing to marvel about you and keep the low profile. This trick will save you a lot of money

    Hi I love what you said and how to follow what the Lord is telling you to do. We'd love to invest in Diani Kenya and teach skills we have to the local youngsters and use my gardening design skills as well to create a list of customers who would be keen on making a lovely garden out of a beat land. Thank you for sharing your experience. We have been watching your journey since 2021. God bless you

    Tim, do you have any videos comparing all the major issues between Tanzania and West African countries such as Senegal or Ghana? And why you chose Tanzania instead of elsewhere? Are choices different for young people than they would be for older retired folks?

    A job skill set that you can use to make money in Africa if you don't have a retirement/remote income to support you. There are no social services to help you in Africa.

    Most services are owned by individuals, not corporations. So that so- called snapping quick service...😂😂.calm down.& behave..becaz it will make you look like you're disrespectful. That consumer- mindset .nope.nope.nope. And you will be thrown out of there.
