@@PeppeGP_48 F1 2009 was made by Sumo Digital, a smaller company which is owned by Codemasters. Of course they hadn't the money and technology to make a better game, so this is what they could do. At least it's decent for Wii and PSP specs, so please, appreciate their work.
Codemasters has some weird audio sometimes. 2018 Sounds about right but the downshift is ugly as fuck. 2019 sounds completely made up while 2020 sounds like the current Ferrari again. The only thing they never got right tho, is the Red Bull ever since it has the growling when it downshifts. Fun Fact... there is an Alternative Mercedes Sound in the 2020 Gamefiles which you can use, it has the perfect exhaust sound that you hear on the Merc and Racing Point, especially when accelerating... but its not loud enough and the engine sound is almost completely missing xD. Well I'm hopeful for F1 2021 and that the Merc Sound is a Work in Progress of the next year.
2006 still is very solid! For me one of the best F1 games ever! :)

They nailed the sound of the car perfectly in 2018. What happened in 2019... is beyond me. But 2020 is quite good but not as perfect as 2018.

Both 2012/13 and 2017/18: a bit improvement but the price is a harsh downshifting 😂
They make another f1 2009 that is like the newer games just with older cars, tracks, drivers and different classic cars.
