This interview made me feel like David and Tommy have been in an ongoing dispute for years, and we just got shown a very small snippet of that dispute.

Yeah Tommy is weird anyway. It's often very cringe and uncomfortable. And quiet spaces. He asks weird questions like an art critic looking at a weird bit of art trying to figure out what it is without being insulting ... like how do you feel about getting old. Are you an outsider? Wtf sort of questions are they? Very weird and intense. Also not a bit light or humorous.

Love mc savage I think the anger is his best bit. He's right though , on stage you should be allowed to go off the head and not be judged , I see comics as a character anyway, whether they mean it or not is irrelevant if it makes you laugh that's the point. The comedy is so far off the wall it is genius.

To give his audience a hard time because they are laughing too much when another comedian is on stage. I find that very underhand and disrespectful to the other comedian. Must have quite a jealous streak in him.
Spoiler alert Tommy knows 😅 saw dms in Bantry recently absolutely brilliant & the support act guy too. Tommy t is a langer use to like him but nah sold his little bit of fame for a slot on propaganda tv.
In a weird way, I kind of like that he might be a bit of a prick. There shouldn't be a requirement that every halfway famous person should be warm, cuddly and approachable.

Various other things have happened to him as well, like being chased through town by a gang of feral youths. Honestly, I think his street act was fairly ballsy and he took his lumps over it without too much complaint, so I can only really say fair enough. 🙅

I don't like this show without an audience. It's too serious. This to me is absurd as Tommy is good as a lighthearted interviewer in my opinion.

Saw him recently in Killarney good solid hour of material, really good crowd work and pace. He knows his craft and still is funny.
dave did a whole comedy tour thing through ukraine, kind of jumping on the bandwagon at the time, which I thought was fairly gay.
