The metronomic consistency of Austin’s heel-toe doubles is something to revere.
by far it's his best skill

🤟🔥
Hell yeah, been waiting for this one 🖤 cheers Austin! You selling any drumsticks by chance?
😎👍
Dude... do you have an evans EMAD bass drum skin on your floor tom??
Is there a reason why the snare mic is touching straight down on the drumhead, or did you just hit it by accident, so it got there? Never seen a soundguy do that in my 30 years of drumming, but that doesn't mean there's is not a function for it.
thinking about it, could it be to help with the trigger's response? idk
Austin help I have a disorder where my feet wont play the kicks correctly after I get tired. Should I see the doctor or should I just quit the drums?
Everyone gets sloppy when they get tired dud. What you can do is to improve your stamina and technique tho.
Work on it constantly and you will see progress!
dude youre a fuckin monster
This is ridiculous I must say
I thought i can play like this with trigger. Now i got my triggers. Guess what ? I still sucks. 🤣
I wonder what it would sound like without triggers
It would sound silly without triggers 😂 but thankfully he’s got them.
Each stroke would still be discernible, but the leading heel singles of each foot produce the most power and would therefore generate greater volume than the following toe singles.
Edit : You can check out audio examples of triggerless acoustic heel-toe doubles on YT.
