It really is, my only complaint and it's a minor one is the starting area could have had more stuff in it... Or maybe I need to look harder.
Just gotta be real careful for spoilers, I think I'm a good bit ahead of you so should be safe to watch this, I won't be reading the comments though 😂

wohoo! you're finally in the game! and a paladin (str-fth?) build, inspired by our Sun Bro, wielding the op Blasphemous Blade? This will be amazing! I can't tell much since I', still exploring the area, and I spent about an hour farming the first enemy, the one with the circle blade, and I finally have all his armor and the circular blade! i suggest you explore the woods 5:48 if you have the time. =) this will be the only channel I will watch to avoid many spoilers, since we're almost at the same area, a bit far ahead of you, but that's just me exploring, not really playing the main quest. goodluck man! the enemies are stronger, but i believe in your Sun Bro! =)

Something you will find very helpful, there’s a new “Recent Items” tab feature, but you have to go to settings and turn it on first.

The scaudtree fragments are indeed how you level up (though you can still level normally)
I thought I'd try the DLC without uding them... That idea was put to bed real fast though 😂

the whole point of them is to give players an actual sense of progression despite having "complete" builds already
YATEZZ!! It's been a while bro, I'm glad you're in the DLC! To see when you get new items you gotta turn that on in your settings. Bruh I've been binging the game all night, I think I've found 4 of the 10 main bosses I've only beaten 2 of them but man they absolutely kicked my ass. The other 2 I'm stuck on, as of right now I'd say they're ALL harder than every boss in the main game except Malenia. Even then I can read Malenia a lot easier than these bosses. This is probably Fromsofts hardest Souls DLC yet. I'm really enjoying the map though! So far I'm using a Dex Arcane build, might swap my Arcane for Faith if I can find some more new incants. Cheers tho bro, let's give this DLC hell!

YOOOOO. ffinally. but I wish you'd stop giving up so easily and skipping challenges so early in the DLC. at this point your character is weak but not weak like when you started the game, I mean you already finished the base game, you finished DS1 and bloodborne. I believe you can overcome the bosses here even without summons too. specially the blackgaol knight. he's just really tough but every boss is tough here basically because they all hit hard.
