Excited to see the frogs, powerbait worms, and definitely that huge glide bait. I don't own or have ever thrown a glide bait that size, so I'll live vicariously through you.
Bass Pro Tournament Series has new worms called wstik. They're like a 4.5 inch pocket rocket. Might be worth checking out for finesse situations and they only cost $7 for 16
Always good to watch your unboxing vids. It's like a "this is what you need to throw for the next few weeks" tutorial. You haven't let me down yet. I have some of those worms in that colour so that's what i'll be focusing on this weekend. Had a great weekend with the dark blue/black stick so makes sense the dark colours working.
Dude I can’t say it any more I love the unboxings. I’m goin fishing tonight so we’ll see. Also I just got the pocket rocket because of u and I love it. The action is awesome and the plastic is tougher. Love em already
Down at the lake, quiet, peaceful, relaxed, listening to videos on UA-cam. Audiobook ended, click on Debo's new video. WHATS UP FEESHING FRIENDS!!! Holy shit! Bout jumped off the dock I was so startled. Had volume all the way up on audiobook and didn't know it. 🤣🤣🤣
Great stuff Debo! Really enjoy watching your show. I’m with you on the glide baits, kind of like finesse fishing. I’ve really got to come prepared not only with the gear but the mentality as well. Keep at it!
All the frogs! I’ve had rotten luck with frogs this year, but it’s still loads of fun. Trust me first one I get you’re the first to know! Thank you for your videos brother!
Those EWG Owner hooks with the long neck are designed for tying a Snell Knot to increase hook-up rate especially when fishing a weighted Texas rig it will always pivot one way when you set the hook. I remember seeing a video on this on UA-cam. The knot aids in the caming action of the hook when a Bass strikes and moves off with the bait.
When the fish are in the right mood you can't beat a glide bait. Most of the time I get them to just follow it in and at least I see what is really swimming around. Like anything I guess there is a time and place for them.
Yeah, that's what I really have to figure out. Oh ...this would be perfect for a big glide...I don't have that confident "ah haaaa!" Moment with them yet.
Love that tequila sunrise color, back in the day I remember looking through those old Bass Pro catalogues and wanting all the cool colors of power worm. Just picked up some kinky beavers in Blacklight, SUPER cool looking color, can't wait to try it!
I just got a bunch of stuff from Grande Fishing Lurrs last week! So excited to try out some new baits! Been loving the air tail! Good luck with the new frogs!
I use a vmc ewg hook that has an extra long “neck” and it keeps the plastics on really well. I could only ever find them at gander though so I bought about 10 packs when they went out
Great haul Debo! Some solid baits for summer. You definitely need to only take swimbaits out without anything else. To much distraction, knowing you can catch some easier on something else. Those tequila sunrise worms are the ticket for sure. Keep up the great tips and advice buddy! 👍
Great choices man! You'll love the FX2...appreciate the shout out as well. Strike King came out with a few baits in Tequila Sunrise a few months back...look killer! Good luck with the new gear!
Power Bait, Culprit, and Zoom big worms for the win! Here lately I've tried Bass Pro Shops' 10" worm and it has performed very well. Caught 3 fish on the first worm and still had life left in it. I've always had good luck with Moccasin, Black/Purple, and Watermelon Candy colors.
Glide bait bro! Dedication determination. You’ll get get man . 10,000 casts but when it chomps 😁. Interested to see the molix frog in action . My kvd sexy frogs are a chore to get walking if at all. Good stuff DebO!
Hey debo love the vid ,what do you think of the savage gear smash tail prop bait ?saw it on your whopper plopper video and decided to get one my self and only used it a bit
Debo, I do love my plastics so the worms you have all look interesting. With plastics you need good hooks. I am a big fan of the VMC resin coated hooks. Also a major Owner and Gamakatsu fan. This past year I also got into Mustad KVD grip pin super line and fine wire hooks. They have a unique bait keeper that works very well especially with Z-Man and other tough durable plastics. Not so well with Senko’s. I use them with Senko’s but they only last maybe for two fish. I am starting to use bigger hooks even on 4 and 5” baits. My theory is it is harder to gut hook and easier to remove. Not scientific but seems to work this year. The bites are subtle, hard to detect and by the time I do set the hook they have it for too long. The larger hook seems to solve that issue. I am using a good reel and rod so detecting is not the issue. I also like the hooks with the longer neck. I will give them a try.
I have tried using a cheap glide bait 2 or 3 times with one smallmouth follow right up to me before it turned away. So I just got an S-Waver delivered from TW yesterday in the lite trout color. I would like to see how you fish a glide bait like the Pistol Pete. A few days ago, I went early to a lake in the mountains where there is not a lot of pressure. Tried topwater for 3 hours with only one small blowup. I finally switched to black/blue plastic worms and ManBearPig in tramp stamp to catch 4 largemouth. All between 1.5 to 2 pounds. At least I figured out what they wanted.
I have the gold gill kaera, great frog. Most excited about the big swimbait, I'm in the same boat, trying to start throwing them myself. Be nice to see someone else struggle lol
You just inspired me to go to tackle warehouse and put a 🐸 box together, just put in a order for 12 different kinds and sizes. Should get them by my birthday on the 12 next month, we only have a handful of weeks left for good frog fishing. BTW Red Shad is my go to power bait worm color. I caught some of my biggest fish on that color.
I’ve not had great success with larger profile frogs. Granted, I don’t often get to fish places where big fish are concentrated. I’ve looked at the R2S Ish frogs several times but haven’t pulled the trigger yet!
Man I’ve thrown the powerbait tequila sunrise a ton and have never caught a fish on one. It’s not the bait, it’s me. I keep at it as I am convinced the fish will eat those and the bubblegum color. I’ll get it someday. Anywho - those big ass frogs look fun. Looking forward to seeing u frogging with those. And that silver bullet frog looked badass too. Cool stuff Debo. I always enjoy unboxings.
I love the Berkeley powerbait 10” ribbon tail worm in motor oil red. It’s not the most durable bait, but I have a lot of success with it. Just got the tequila sunrise color. We’ll see how that does
Happy to see you throw any of those baits. I’m glad to see you investing in some glide baits. I was a big believer early this year cuz the Hybrids we’re loving them. I kinda wonder if it’s just a more aggressive tactic. I was thinking the same thing the other night cuz I threw one exclusively for about an hour with just a little 11 inch smallmouth. Those owner hooks definitely look awesome I’m intrigued by that longer neck as well. Always good stuff my brother!!!
I've got to the point where I only throw the 2 R2S frogs. The Bullywa walks better in open water and I prefer that frog there. The Ish frog is better in thicker cover, it has a flatter bottom and makes a nice indentation if you get some surface slop. That's my 2c on the frogs.
The berkley power worm tequila sunrise is my dads favorite lure also and blue flek thats crazy i swear that is all my dad threw that and a spinnerbait with a colorado blade always but tequila sunrise was a staple thats crazy and the powerbait also he loved powerbait because he said the scent was the best i know he outfished me alot of days
I always rig the worm or any soft plastic to the curve of the hook point. I like that it covers the eye hole and the extra line and I feel like it gives the weight a drift landing when it cones back on the hook. Also makes it a little more weedless when Texas rigging it.
I prefer June bug but that tequila sunrise has a nice color. And frogs all the frogs. I have yet to catch one on a frog but I am bound to do so before the end of the season. My issue is getting out, I need to go more often!
Scrolling thru vids Debo. Any luck with the zoom trick worm in merthiolate color. I know where I live you couldn’t find them in the summer time. So I picked up some today. ... see how they do this summer🤷🏻♂️
It’s 8:15 a.m. and I just got home from a 12 hour shift. Popped open the iPad and saw a new video had dropped. Saw in the comments that mr. Beck said I would be jealous over those frogs and he’s not wrong. I’m going froggin!!! Sleep is highly overrated. Can’t wait to see how those R2S frogs work.
Debo - I’m most looking forward to seeing you throw the tequila sunrise worms! Glide baits have never really interested me, so they’d be my 2nd choice to see how you make out with them.
Thanks for keeping your shows PG. I can watch you with my daughter and not worry about your language. Plus - you make things easier to understand.
I appreciate the support man!
That silver frog almost looks like a carp presentation. Great Video!!
Yes, it's definitely different!
Ish frog for sure. Can't wait to see that video. 💯
“Well we’re gonna call it bluegill or perch color here...”😂
I love how debo didn't say the color type on that one lol
@Ultralight Angling I know, is funny how he chose not to say it
Debo will readily say Tramp Stamp. But not Truffle Butter!
Sees "truffle butter"
Throws box down hahaha
🤣
That grandebass worm looks cool. Gotta try that
Yeah, Definitely a cool different look!
Love your unboxing videos! Who doesn’t love frog fishing?! I’m most interested into watching you try them frogs but also like the worms.
I'll definitely be throwing the frogs soon!
I’m excited to see the Grandebass mega rattle snake!
I'll be throwing that baby soon!
Great video man! Summer fishing awaits and so do the biggins!
Thanks man! I love summer...just don't want winter to come...😭
I’m amazed at the constant stream of fishing supplies you have coming in
I like to try new things and report back to y'all 💁♂️👊
Debo rocking that quarantine haircut haha! Same here brother! Tight lines!
What quarantine? Are you sick? Quarantine is for the sick 😉.
I haven't been back to the barber....it's getting long 🤣👊
Great unboxing Debo -- those glide baits look pretty good. I'd love to see an episode or two dedicated to feeshing them. 🐟 🐟 🐟 🎣
I'm definitely gling to have some this fall!
Excited to see the frogs, powerbait worms, and definitely that huge glide bait. I don't own or have ever thrown a glide bait that size, so I'll live vicariously through you.
I'll be throwing them all soon!
Hey Debo I want to see a glide bait video. I throw them and they look so good but no takers. Look forward to all your vids....
Same...I've been throwing them but still no fish. I'll definitely be throwing them more this fall!
I use the owner worm hooks. The long shank helps to keep worms there. And save a lot of plasticks.
Bass Pro Tournament Series has new worms called wstik. They're like a 4.5 inch pocket rocket. Might be worth checking out for finesse situations and they only cost $7 for 16
What? Haven't heard of those. I'll look them up!
@@DEBOSFishing update. They are called Wacky Stiko. My bad DEBO 😂

Dude I can’t say it any more I love the unboxings. I’m goin fishing tonight so we’ll see. Also I just got the pocket rocket because of u and I love it. The action is awesome and the plastic is tougher. Love em already
Hope you found some good fish! Yes, the Reaction Innovations Pocket Rocket is one of my favorites!
Damn i love these unboxings. Good hit for the T.A 👍

Great stuff Debo! Really enjoy watching your show. I’m with you on the glide baits, kind of like finesse fishing. I’ve really got to come prepared not only with the gear but the mentality as well. Keep at it!
Yeah, I really need to take just that combo and nothing else!
Yesss! I have been waiting all day for a new video to drop.
Debo can you please do a video about the shimano clarus rod love the channel
I don't have a Clarus rod, I'll keep my eyes peeled for a sale.
The 10 inch worms are supposed to be deadly neko rigged. So that's probably why they show it now. Good ol' Skeet Reese did a video ad for it.
Huh...I've never tried a neko rigged ribbon tail worm. Interesting concept. Hope you are doing well brother 👊
All the frogs! I’ve had rotten luck with frogs this year, but it’s still loads of fun. Trust me first one I get you’re the first to know! Thank you for your videos brother!
Dope profile pic
The thanks goes all to you for watching. Froggin is a ton of fun. Stick with it man and you'll get some confidence with them!
Every time I think that I have too much tackle. I just think about your fishing stash and can convince myself it's okay to buy more lures.
I mean...it's just so fun trying new lures 🤣👊
Those EWG Owner hooks with the long neck are designed for tying a Snell Knot to increase hook-up rate especially when fishing a weighted Texas rig it will always pivot one way when you set the hook. I remember seeing a video on this on UA-cam. The knot aids in the caming action of the hook when a Bass strikes and moves off with the bait.
Great run down. Definitely interested in seeing the bigger frogs and worm Texas rigs.
I'll definitely be throwing both!
I use culprit tequila sunrise religiously in the summer
I use the weedless wide gap hooks for wacky rigging in weedy ponds. Haven't used them on ribbon tails.
Ribbon tails my favorite. I use the same style hook. Slide the plastic all the way on the hook.
Great video. Ish Monroe is the frog master so if anybody should know how to design one it is him. Keep them coming. Tight Lines and God Bless.
For sure, love watching Ish swing on some frog fish!
In the summer there just ain't nothing better than a curly tail worm and a Mann's classic spinnerbait can't recommend them enough.
The classics with the twist at the line tie! Don't know why more companies don't do that!
I have never used a weed less EWG hook on a big worm. Always something new to try. Thank you Debo.
Neither have I...I guess folks neko rig it?
Great vid bro. Sixth sense makes some nice cranks
Thanks man! Yes, they have soms sweet cranks!
I LIKE WATCHING ANYONE THAT CATCH THE FISH.
Awesome unboxing! Thank you for showing it all with such detail! Debo's Fishing
No problem! Thank you for watching 👊

Oh yeah! Was always so exciting when the catalog came!
Ish frog, and that trout glidebait!! I have 1, no luck yet!!
Frogs I'm comfortable with....the glides are a different story 🤣
I just got a bunch of stuff from Grande Fishing Lurrs last week! So excited to try out some new baits! Been loving the air tail! Good luck with the new frogs!
Awesome! They make some great stuff over there! Hope you smash some biggins on them!
That Jackyl Kaera is the easiest frog to walk in the world. Could walk it all day and not get tired
I always love frog. I like to see the last frog. Smog frog or something like that. Hooks being pre set has my curiosity
That scum frog! I've caught a few on the black one. Those vids will be coming up soon.
I use a vmc ewg hook that has an extra long “neck” and it keeps the plastics on really well. I could only ever find them at gander though so I bought about 10 packs when they went out
Damn...I miss the Gander going out of business sale...🤣👊
That’s a dang good haul. I want the jackall frog in the pink/purple color. And the launch frogs are legit.
I love anything frog related 🤣👊

What is your favorite swimbait to use. I'm starting to fish more with swim baits too!
@@SIRFishing I use a S waver most of the time. It's a solid bait and pretty cheap! Good beginning bait also.
@@Ranger374_ Thank you! I'm going to try then out. Do you use it on a particular rig?
@@SIRFishing Rig? If you mean rod, a medium heavy rod will handle a 168 s waver just fine.
@@Ranger374_ didn't mean to say rig. Sorry about that!! 🤣 I meant reel. Like what reel ratio do you usually fish swimbaits with?

Hey debo love the vid ,what do you think of the savage gear smash tail prop bait ?saw it on your whopper plopper video and decided to get one my self and only used it a bit
I used it and caught a few on it. I still prefer a 110 plopper or 120 berkley choppo.
Like your videos. Its interesting to see what others are using in different parts of the country.
Agreed, always cool to see how folks tackle other bodies of water!

Sounds like a cake or candy. Must be for those bass with a sweet tooth😂

They are great lures man!
Use those jackall kaera frogs for the smallies it smashes them
Debo do you keep your plastics in the bags and just throw them in the tackle box or do you take them out and put them in the plastic boxes?
Nope, I always keep them in the bags. Plastics can react with a box and melt, smell awful, and ruin a box.
Always excited to see frog bites but would like to see the swimbaits. I'm the same I just got to get out and use them.
I'm awful with these glide baits but I'm going to catch something on one soon! I MUST HAVE FAITH! 🤣
