Speaking of giving up too early, my friend's first time skating he ran over a rat and fell on the concrete then sold his akates the same week he bought them. He said was a sign lol
I would like to thank you as a small child, I always did this. I am now 29 and I thought I would do it again, but I didn't understand what I was doing wrong, so I can do it every time in that split and not move forward, but because of your tips gives much better results in one go
🧡🧡 that makes me feel good! Just keep practicing! It’s all about your own personal journey and finding joy through skating. At least that’s what it is for me 🥹
Hey Polly!! I'm 28 and i started skating in february 2023. I've come a long way but i still feel really paralized with fear sometimes, especially when doing aggressive/skatepark stuff (i cant bring myself to jump into a grind!!!). Do you have any tips for overcoming this fear? THANK YOU ♥
I haven’t skated for many years and I used to play ice hockey. Had a bad accident and lost my confidence, so I am trying rollerblading, looked up tips on here and found you and you’re very informative 🤙🏽
Thanks for your videos, I love skating and used to skate a lot when I was a kid. Now that I have a chance to pick up rollerblade again, I felt in love with it. However, the process is still kind of tedious since I want to get back to the level I played before. Your videos really helps me out to remember all the technique I had ❤
These are very helpful! I picked up skating as a way to overcome fears and keep active - as an older, (initially) less fit skater, having these trouble points to watch out for is very helpful - otherwise I wouldn't know where to look when trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I impulsively grabbed skates that were on sale at my local Academy - and this video helped me figure out that I probably should have invested in a pair with a bit more support. Ah well - at least I'm upright and enjoying it. Thanks very much for these tips!
For years I've wanted to learn to skate. Last fall, I bought some cheap ones at a big box store and broke my wrist within 10 minutes. (Fell backwards and landed square on my dominant wrist.) I subsequently took them back and gave up. It's been a full year, and I really want to try again. I've been watching lots of your videos and I feel much more confident now, but I'm still terrified that I'm going to break something else. Plus everyone around me says it's a terrible idea. What should I do?
You should learn how to fall. This person also has a video solely on it. The techniques for falling means that you won’t put all your weight on one part of your body (aka your one wrist)
this video is so helpful!! Im having trouble with stopping and pronating but you and other UA-camrs are so helpful!. Side note if u see this im wondering where you got your skort, it is sooo cute!
Can u assist me with what boots to buy? I am a a size 6 but bought kids soft skates and feel hard.. also it’s hard to tell which one is the right and left foot because both toes face opposite.
Thanks for your videos. I am learning inline skates for a couple of weeks now. I do not make any of the mistakes that you showed in this video. But, I think you forgot one common mistake: NOT LEARNING HOW TO STOP.......Skating is so much fun that I also do not put that much effort on learning to stop....
Love your outfit ! ❤❤ Thanks for your advice ! Another mistake in my opinion is not wearing a helmet. We never know what can happen, it can be dangerous if you practice in the streets with cars around Helmets are cool, better than head/neck injuries ! 😄

A rat!!?! 🙀
I ran over a gecko on my first day (yesterday.) It was only his tail tho and he loved. Almost gave up for a second there lol
You’re always so realistic and articulate. Love your instruction!!!

Your channel is the best & safest place for me to learn, yet I'm 33 and still can't do scissored pose correctly.
🧡🧡 that makes me feel good! Just keep practicing! It’s all about your own personal journey and finding joy through skating. At least that’s what it is for me 🥹
I’m getting my roller blades today and I cannot wait! I’ve watched all of your videos so I’m ready 😂
How fun!!! 🎉🎉🤙🧡🙏

Which is better, rollerblading on the floor that is a little bit rough on its texture or a floor that as smooth like the one in our houses?
