I don't understand why Chinese are fooled or just pretend. She is obviously an ethnic Chinese. North Korea Chinese population is not zero and being a guide for Chinese tourists is a possible occupation for them. I known hundreds of Chinese and as many Koreans in my life and I immediately recognized her as an ethnic Chinese. Her Korean language does not sound her first language it does not have the right Korean accent. Don't forget that China has a special relation with N Korea, so there are more chinese in NK than any other foreign nationals.
As for all the Chinese, watching this, i guess a lot aren't honest and know she is Chinese but living in NK and maybe it's why they like to say she is good looking. Especially they're proud to see one of theirs to be a Korean national given the solid earned reputation of Korean women being beautiful.
I cannot agree with them on that, even though i feel sympathy for her, i see it as a patriotic bias.
By the way the other chubby guide is also Chinese ethnicity. They're clearly assigned to Chinese tourist for that reason. They spend 6 months internship in China after graduation.
Some people have a gift for languages. I know an Italian man who speaks Dutch like a native, even though he came to live here in his twenties.

The definition of democracy is a form of government in which the common people hold political power and can rule either directly or through elected representatives. How can they mention democratic. Does the D in DPRK stand for Dictator?
Er, actually he was elected. North Korea is not a monarchy. Kim Il Sung conquered his position through his revolutionary and military accomplishments, but Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un were both elected. You have direct elections for the parliament, all of them are members of the working class. They have about four parties, the Workers’ Party being the biggest and strongest. As if the capitalist world was democratic. It’s a plutocracy where the resources concentrate at the hands of 1% and where workers are nothing.
The USA is not even a democracy. It's actually a federal constitutional republic where corporations dictate policy on behalf of a certain foreign power that controls the USA.
More democratic than in the west where every candidate is a puppet for the same 100 capitalists.
Elections are, ehm, well, let's say, 'different' from elsewhere. There’s only one candidate registered for each constituency, so people can only vote for or against that single candidate decided by the party. If you want to vote for a candidate, you can just put your ballot paper directly in the ballot box. Entering the polling booth is an act of voting against the candidate, abstaining or making an invalid vote. If a person enters the booth, everyone can see that. Turnout is always close to 100%, and approval for the governing alliance is unanimous. So, nothing Democratic going on there.

Most males would be happy to spend more time talking about such piffle, as long as it was with that tour guide.
If that’s anything like China, the drinks in those window door “refrigerators” aren’t even cold. They are just in there, but no refrigeration. I really hated that when visiting China during summer.
