Tips And Comments:
- Playing Technique: For the main riff i use alternate picking, Matt uses just down strokes. Played with bridge pickup (i should have changed between parts but it was hard to do). All knobs at full volume.
- Gear Sound: For the main riff guitar i used a lot of fuzz and some distortion. For the verse parts just some delay and octaver. For the chorus some overdrive is used.
- Tips : Play the octaves in the fill part using your remaining fingers to mute the middle string. The main riff is tricky in the finger positions, be careful with that and try to economize always, less movement is better speed.

Not really hard from a bassist's perspective but really challenging for my level (I'm learning how to play guitar again). I know I'll get there soon.
I just learned it in 1 week. It's not hard actually but if you aren't used to playing notes repeatedly in a constant motion then it's hard. Just enough practice to get your fingers ready for back and forth note playing. I'm not a pro but I hope my comment helps. You just need enough motivation to learn the song. Don't forget that it's a fun riff to play so that you may have more motivation

I checked several sources on how to play this one. I tried Guitar Pro tabs and I have the Muse guitar tabs book. Those tabs are correct, but you are playing it slightly different, though the notes are the same. You're never touching the 10th fret in the main riff. The way you're playing it is easier and very sensible, in my opinion, so thanks for your tabs! I never thought of playing it like that! Same note, different position on the fretboard!

Simply move the A note (which is the flat third) 1 octave higher : from the 12th fret of A string down to the 10th fret of B string.

I think on the second round of the chorus you could instead play the Bm for another four strums, and then switch to the f# for only four strums, since normally a person covering this song isn't interested in the harmonic guitar part.
