I like how good it can be sometimes but I hate when the mavs or gbus lock the ground and u need to get like closer than 4km or when u only get a hit with the mavs, or when they explode mid air out of nowhere even tho u were in range

@@sylphr4843 not everyone, did you check how Otomatic got nerfed to 4 km ? Obviously its Scifi game and its balanced around wallet , planes need to sell thats why u cant see anything at 5km high and 70 degree + like you did before...

@@Czecher86 No, all of the current AA we have in game have limitations at the very least on their search radars, none of them in real life can search 90° up (straight up), this is what's known as a radar blindspot, just like aircraft (including Helicopters) have blindspots in their Radar Warning Receivers (RWR), unless you already know it's there you're blind via radar. Some of the tracking radars can, however the tracking radar's ability to lock a target without the assistance of the search radar is hindered, in most cases quite significantly. As far as I'm aware of the current radar capable AA we have in game only a few can extend up to 70-80° on their search radars. And of those that can look straight up with their tracking radar it's because the tracking radar is fixed in place and moves with the turret/guns/missiles that usually can also look straight up. Very few have seperated tracking radars that are themselves also movable.
Only fairly modern SPAA OR larger SAM's that need to remain stationary and have seperate missile batteries, and search and track radars (not to mention a fuck ton more range most of the time), have the ability to look straight up with their search radars, and even then it's not all of them.

@@evangalinsky2499 This is GAME ,it must be somewhat balanced... T-72s never survive penetratio in real life, they are almost immortal ingame, countless ammo hits and still going..

@@Czecher86 precisely, it's a game, so expecting it to be accurate 100% of the time on real time calculations, even and especially in terms of things like physics, is completely irrational, even the most purpose built simple computers are not 100% correct 100% of the time. This is why things like ECC (error correcting) memory exists. And it's not just that tank that it happens to. There are plenty of other game physic related problems.
Also, that has nothing to do with the original topic. Radar is a game mechanic, game physics are exactly that, game physics. They're completely seperate.
