I don't recall a time when we were mostly direct descendants from England and all the mini England's surrounding it( I don't hold a positive view of Quebec, unfortunately nor of Canada anymore), must have been before my time. Trial as a juvenile,but punishments for juveniles must change. More years served, and probation for at least a decade afterwards.

Secondly, this isnt just about the LCBO employees job security, Fords plan to make alcohol more accessible in easier access points, is beyond recklace and dangerous. Especially offering harder liquor in these places.
Most people in the crappy corner store and grocery jobs and not qualified to handle alcohol sales, nor are they going to give a crap to argue with drunk people demanding more alcohol. They arent going to be able to hire more people to have at least two on at a time for safety reasons, they wont be able to hire security guards. Crime will increase. Its terrifying.

Kids this age have been given first person shooter games, been taught how to kill without remorse and they lack the prefrontal cortex to navigate real life and emotion. It’s terrible.
There is no need to keep the LCBO in operation. Put the business in the hands of public Canadian businesses. The reason more than 70% of the jobs at the LCBO are casual is because the LCBO is American owned, and just like Walmart, theey do not want to have to pay decent benefits, nor do they want to have to pay wages that are legally required for full-time workers.
Lower the young offenders act, to age 12. Kids know they can get away with crime, before they turn 18!!!

@re-replied because they could still have the profit of 6 billion dollars or more if they cut the cost of labour, let stores sell the booze and just collect all the tax from sales. Without labour costs, of pay, UI, health insurance, and other related labour costs they would make more money. Pretty simple to understand.
