Kevin Drake, a former Major League Baseball player, returns to his hometown after ending his career. Traumatized both physically and emotionally, he struggles to find new meaning in life. Kevin is faced with painful memories of his childhood when his mother, Lucy, was unable to protect him from Frank's cruelty. As Kevin tries to rebuild his relationship with his younger brother, Tommy, he realizes that old wounds still hurt. The situation escalates when he discovers that Frank continues to abuse the family, especially Tommy.
Gathering all his strength and courage, Kevin decides to confront Frank. He forces his stepfather to answer for his actions, trying to find peace for himself and his family. I grew up in that kind of hell. There's nothing to forgive. I've built a better life, and I knew I wouldn't settle for less. You never forget the past, and I am so grateful for the life we have now. But it leaves something inside you; it never truly goes away. You tend to trust people until they prove you wrong for trusting them. You see more in everything around you than the average person does.
I grew up in a lot of hell too and you're right you noticed things that other people just don't notice I think we believe in God more and I think that we're tougher than other people and I think that we're not going to put up with it for very long
I also grew upin that kind of hell, I am now 66 but the past don't let me go away, but one thing these hell made me so near to GOD, by his grace I did not sucide and end my life which I thought I might remember at the age 14 or 15 thank God
I can relate, but I stopped the cycle for the most part. I knew that I wasn't suppose to break others just because someone tried to break me. Every day that our past haunts us is another day of self made enslavement. I have to choose to be free from my past DAILY!
To forgive is way thougher than forget. No wonder that to forgive sins is an divine attribute and only by grace we may share in it. God bless.
So true and facts! And I'm sorry but then when an evil human being that was your family at one point, thinks they can turn written pages in a book and believe that they are a better human being now..... Um no wtf! And I can't stand when someone tells me to forget the past.... Because it doesn't ever go away, you just survived it! And then you try to live the best way you can without them! I absolutely have nothing to do with my parents anymore and they are not my parents! They just had unprotected sex and created me, never real love! Only abuse!
My father passed when I was 12 years old. My stepdad stepped up and was an awesome father the rest of his life. When I met my wife, she had a young son and I stepped up. When he became an adult, he told me I was the dad his dad could never be. Not all stepparents are bad. But people have a tendency to focus and acknowledge the bad ones and forget about the good ones.
thankyou for this . .
Sounds good.....
I have tremendous respect not only for you but also ur father and ur kid. U were raised well. God bless u 🙏
My so called dad took off and left my brother and I and my mom remarried...thank god for my stepdad stepping up and being a real man... growing up i thought my real dad was a tough guy and not so much for my stepdad but I'm grown now and realize who the tough man really was.. being a man is not just being physically tough and talking and acting tough but it's being there for your family when times are tough along with the good times....i have so much more respect for my stepdad than my real dad and i never thought I'd feel that way...i learned everything from my stepdad about how to survive life and i learned nothing except maybe trying to act tough from my dad and that's sad he was suppose to be the one to teach me... sorry for the long comment but this runs deep in my soul.. how could anyone leave their kids behind to fend for their selves 😮
I cried when I think that there are fathers and step fathers out there just like him, pure poison
MORE LIKE EVIL 😈 PERIOD
An mother's and step mother's!
Yup ,it's real ,I know first hand 🤜😢
You people stop doing seperation, divorse and remarriage frequently. You people never gave any importance to your kids while remarriage. obviously this will be the outcome
Yes there is, pure evil
A very good movie. People have no idea how they mess kids up FOR LIFE. Some things just aren't forgotten no matter how much time passes...
so true
You got that right.
Yes so sad at at times when kids try to tell the mom she actually doesn’t believe the child 😡 this is real it goes on in life a lot I see it on the news where the step father or even step mother Is so mean that’s why some children run away so many children suffer so much they get rap as well so sick the world 🌎 we are living in 🙏🙏 just stared to watch this movie that step dad is disgusting 🤮
I know that principal knows something I hope he helps that two young brothers 🙏will gotta finish watching the movie
Fact!
I always wonder why some step parents hate their partners' children. Its very sad. 😢😢😢. Shout to those who treat children as their own 🎉🎉❤❤
Especially when they're getting into the relationship, they know very well it's a package deal.
Sometimes people just don’t like children. Sometimes they hate the step child because they remind them of the ex. Sometimes they hate them because they are a reminder their spouse loved someone before you. All are cues you have no right to marry their parent…..walk away.
Hell I wonder why real parents hate their kids so much
Because step parents usually live in sin. Satan is their master
@@redsoil5821 myutube!!!
we learn from this movie that we should raise kids with love and respect..thanks for uploading this movie
Hi
and patience accompanied by a lot of simple explanations about humane and personal subjects.
Elaarevalo when are you posting your dancing vid in white shorts?
What a shocking mother "I told you not to do it where it is visible" 😳😭😭 I was i an abusive marriage, but i protected my kids to my own detriment, but I protected them and got out of it thank the Lord.
SO DID I 🎉😊❤ THANK GOD 🎉❤😊
The lord didn’t get you out you got yourself out, you had the strength to care for yourself and children, G0d doesn’t give a rats a$$ about anyone.
Horrible. And later we learn that actually she owned the house and instead of kicking him out she tolerated the abuse of her children and actually advising him not to hurt them where it is visible. I say she's worse than that animal the step father.
You should have left, that abuse scares children.
How can she choose a man over her sons ? That is stupid 😒 😑
Happens everyday all over the world. Some women just cannot be alone, they must have a man any man will do. My mother and sister were that way. I will give mom credit she never let any of her men/husbands abuse us.
trained into an obedient and scared ego personality, probably all of her live.
Exactly
listen, their are few unbroken men today. broken men create broken families which produce more brokenness. WE MEN have to break the cycle. WE MUST!
Fear
A tough story, well acted. Don't be weak, if you don't show a parent or spouse you won't take their evil abuse they will continue to ruin your life. Stand up or get out. You don't find justice, you take it.
Im watching and crying for Scott. a very good movie . A heartbreaking movie
Yes and very realistic especially as drunks and abuse go hand in hand .
There's more than one kind of hell when you are growing up. Almost no one outside the family knows and those who do say nothing. When you get the courage to leave, you are labeled a bad daughter. Time and determination to have a better life have helped me heal, but I trust no one.
Same thing here , and it's just so harder than you realize 😪
Certainly hope u r doing well and keeping safe and healthy🙏
My father came home after being a soldier in world war 2 and he owned his first car , this car was what enabled him to get his mother and younger siblings moved far away from a very abusive step father
You abuse someone for years , then time passes and you're supposed to forgive . Hell no, not after you've been scared to the point of not being alive inside .
👆delhi safari movie clips 🙄😅

Forgiving is hard but forgetting is almost impossible
@@RayRayVigil well as a sinner I'm still working on it . Besides Isho died for my sins , I'll be ok
Some people should never bring babies to this world... This movie made me cry. The useless mother telling the abuser not to hit her son in the face pissed me off and the brother turning the other way while this monster shatters this poor boys arm... He grow up as a broken human being 😢 he knew no one could mend this... So sad.
Women do to kids leaving husbands sorry not at all
It got me too. The brother should've ...
I’m old, thank heaven. All my life, I have told people planning to marry someone with children that if you cannot love the children as your own, you have no right to marry their parent. The children should always come before you. If you can’t do that, then walk away. Anyone who marries someone with children and does not put them first, is worse than the parents that bore them and created this situation. Why? Because the situation was present when you came into the picture and you have more information to assess, to make better decisions. Children are always your children. Unfortunately in our society today spouses are not always your spouse. Thank God for those step parents that are able to love others children.
YEP 😢😢😢
AMEN TO THAT ONE , THANK YOU @@jamielookingbill9850
The mom needs to wake the hell up her husband hurting her son where is this woman's head 😤
its so much more than just that. MEN are responsible for everyone in our reach. anything short of total sacrifice, is brokenness as a man.
She bore a lot of responsibility in this case!@@user-happydawgbarks
I thought the SAME thing! She said beati g him was OK, "JUST NOT THE FACE"!!! FN SICK!

My best friend never had a bad thing to say about his dad. His stepdad? He spoke about him with reverence. That man realized the boy was brilliant, encouraged him, but also taught him to be humble and kind. My friend is the most eclectic man I know, and think I know why.
Sad to see that some women let their children to be abused by fathers or step-fathers and said they're afraid. My own observation, they stay with the abuser getting the crap beaten out of them, is one thing, but, seeing their children getting the same treatment is on a whole other level, meaning they become WORST than the abusers.
right if you don't love my kids then you are unacceptable
in my life
Well said mate ,cheers 🇦🇺👊
Battered wife syndrome is not at all what it's cracked up to be by those who lack accountability. It's almost always that women stay because the man is their meal ticket and they don't care so much about the kids.
Exactly
not right. it started with a man and it ends with a man. I've seen it too many times and read too much about the subject. its uncontrollable for everyone but the MAN!!!!!! He could control his lack of self worth and get the fk over it, but doesn't. I work hard every day to not break others because I was broken.
Step father and step mother is a curse to the childrens, the real fact is all about.Rethink twice before ur remarriage provided you have a kid which makes them suffer and unforgettable as well as unforgivable to ur family.Thank U.
I believe you are missing the successful second marriages that I have witnessed. healing begins...sometimes.
@@user-happydawgbarks Yeah right.
Great movie but quite sad.
It's a very long, often angry road to overcome serious parent abuse. You never ever forget but moving past it, however you do it, you get your life back.
I was raised in a similar situation. As a child we have no control of how we are raised. I only wish someone tried to help me make the best of it. Being angry at others only hurts yourself. Today I have no ill feelings toward those who beat me. If they were alive today I would shake their hand and be very nice to them. If you are in a bad situation, make the best of it, learn, educate yourself and know its temporary. The right attitude will go a long way for a better future.
Watching from mobile.😂

I'm 66 now I wasn't able to forgive my stepdad 24 years ago when I first time I ever prayed probably took me over 10 years to even forgive him the abuse affected all of us nine kids total and none of us had decent relationships in their lifes but I'm finding friendship in people in this Battle Creek Church I go to in Tulsa
Excellent movie.
That step-dad really messed those kids up.
How do you ever recover from that kind of abuse?
The trauma of physical abuse & violence.
That is very true I be there and it sucks not fun at all
I hate bullies and bully movies.
My bottom line.... nobody bullies me
This was a great movie, but I would have liked to see the end of the conversation!
We had a stepfather like this one (S.O.B) he used to beat me and my sister with a belt make us work like dogs and my mother never protected us. Instead, the witch abused us and at the end we left till today l don't speak to them killers👹😈
Me too but GOD took away my pain thank you so much JESUS ❤
Good movie, watched from Cape Town, South Africa
Right on glad everyone is liking the movie
Mossel bay👋
Watching from cape Town right now
Great movie 🎥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That part of movie didn't make since of covering up the killing of those two.
This animal wouldve been cold 10 hrs after meeting him
I know what it's like to be beat by a father, stepfather, and uncle, and ministers at a children's home. Beat on a sofa with an extension cord because I spotted my pants when I was 5 or 6 years old, I awoke with a case of the runs, and I darted for the outhouse, but I spotted me pants on the way. That was just the first I remember, but there many more. The preachers in the children's home beat us like he was scourging satin himself. My Mom returned took me from the children's home. I now had a stepfather, and he told me when I needed a helping hand, I should look on the end of my wrist. At 13 I worked washing dishes for 50 cents an hour to have lunch money at school and any new clothes. There were times I wanted to give up, and once even slashed a wrist, but a knock came to the door and it was for me, a guy with no friends. Someone I played football with and when he saw he scolded me, wrapped wound and hid it from my mother. Looking back, I can see God always had a light on and I was never in total darkness. I'm old and this is just a fraction of my tale, and what a rollercoaster it has been. With the help of God, I forgave all of them, and am learning to forgive myself. I wasn't raised by Angels and have never been one. When I reflect on my life, looking through clear water, not muddy water, I cannot judge others. I don't know what they went through in life. Walk a mile in someone's shoes, hell I ain't walked one step in someone else's shoes. I've never pushed a blind man down a flight of stairs for bumping into me. Ya'll be good to each other.
Cowards abuse & steal from children. It takes a real man to raise kids, especially if their not their biological kids. Karma catches up to these pathetic excuses for a "father", and let's them grow old alone.
Amazing movies.. sometimes life so tough but those people who really loves dearly makes our life worth fighting for ... The mom amazing ...
Amazing? It's all her fault to cover abusive stepfather's antics, dude!
@@hristohristov6488 Glad you notice that some people don't understand or comprehend what they're seeing and still need to comment showing how dumb they are. Sorry, but I needed to state the truth.
You got it right, Julia.
Watching on my tablet in the throne room while having a b.m.
Bad writings. Self defense is allowed by laws in your home. No need for them to hide the killing
Looks like a flashback of my life...same mother, same father.... unfortunately not a step father.
It was my real dad.
My heart breaks for you. You road is a little longer to peace but its there. They just wern't strong enough to break the cycle... Im sorry that happened to you.
Just remember to live for today and let go of the past. We can learn from the past if we only look for the lesson.
Emotionally draining. Very well acted.
Movie name : 90 FEET FROM HOME
The dude who played the step dad was a great actor. I’ve never hated anyone in a movie so bad in my life. I’m yelling at him through the whole movie. 😂😂
Forgive and forget so that we can move forward with our freedom in our lives.😊🎉❤
Greatest to watch till the end the outcome magnificent turnout never expected that turn out all actor's wow abuse physical man
I will not tolerate ❤❤❤❤❤
Forgiving doesn't help or do anything to or for the aggressors but it helps heal the victims.
I'm going through the same pain
Get the f out from underneath. If I could walk away with a belly full and a 1yr old, anyone can at least try. ❤❤❤
Did I miss something? Was the man his step father and that's why he treated him like that?
Yes he was the step dad
This is a Great movie! Thank you for sharing!
Worth watching.
Watching from my lounge room!!!
😂
Towards the end the background music was drowning out the dialogue. It was very irritating!
Twists and turns with sharp Turns. "Not Bad of a movie"
The ending, "Surprise, Surprise"
Yup. Happy ending after all. So unpredictable. Mom was there all the time.
“Was just a few beatings?”
No it’s not ….I never recover from my beatings from a violent dad !!At 50,failed marriage, unfinished education, unable to keep a job ,etc, plus all the PTSD symptoms!!Today after 30 years of addiction (heroin),I just go by the flow, and life is bleak!!
Totally understand you.
In the darkness im hoping you find some healing.
God is not forgotten u...he waiting for u to truly reach out and grab and hold onto him for dear life
The past is not your fault , it was beyond your control . Now, you must rise above the standards they set and prove you are the better man . Only caring decent people suffer from injustices served on them , the absolute bastards who are uncaring , selfish, and of the same mould of their abusers manage to sail through life without a care . If you can look at yourself in the mirror when you shave in the morning with a clear conscience, then you are indeed the better man . Food luck and my God bless you . 🙏
My oldest boy talks about me like that. I never laid a hand on him. I just.
Wouldn't
Let him take advantage of people
It's a shame Tommy never re-found his footing after his BB career ended, he lost himself along the way. Forgiveness is hard to give to those who don't deserve it but hate is a poison that can destroy you and those around you so it's best to just let it go. Letting go doesn't mean you forgive them. Anyway forgiveness is in the next life.
Good movie that addresses DA in a realistic manner. Thanks for sharing.
Good movie with bonus of Dean Cain in a small late camoe short moment.
A real life scenario in many a family in the past and to a lesser extent in the present as well.
Too much drinking is beyond dangerous. Dangerous to self and others in contact with the drinker.
Unfortunately, drinking is a lifestyle for the masses and majority of the people.
When this topic is discussed, drinkers will state the mind your own business mantra and they can decide themselves and no one should interrupt or intervene as each is to his or her own .
Well, simply put, the most important teaching and training come from the parents. If either or both parents are serious or serial drinkers then, they cant't set good example for thwir children.
So... Nobody's going to comment on how they cut the end of the movie off? Disappointing!
Exactly! The whole reason I traveled through the comments was to see if the video was truncated. If that was the planned ending it really destroyed what was a very engaging movie up till then.
Stepfather ruined that boys Life
Forgiveness is divine ❤
Movie has a true Southern Gothic feel.
This was one of hell of a good movie
This type
of abuse should not be tolerated and a Mother should stand up for her children until its not too late.
You forgive, not for their benefit, but for your benefit. Hate will eat you from the inside out. Besides, they were probably abused severely in their own childhood and didn't know any better.
FORGIVE FOR YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN WILL ALSO FORGIVE YOU AND GOD WILL DEAL WITH THE WICKED AND EVIL ONES AMEN
Forgiveness is the hardest to humans, but pray for God's grace of forgiveness, for it is written:
MATTHEW 6:14,15
14 If you forgive others for their transgressions, your Heavenly Father will forgive you.
15 But if you not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
Americans is a country of forgiveness. We have people among us that History teaches us wanted to destroy America, yet we welcome diversity and have learned God's teachings. It's hard but Americans are up to the challenge, for it is written:
Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD, the people chosen as his very own.
Remember and prepare
ROMANS 14:11
11 for it is written:
"As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bend before me,
and every tongue shall give praise to God."
The Constitution of the United States of America is Americans' legacy, but God is our destiny. ❤
I will never forgive nor forget.
Nor will I let it be.
For every action there is a reaction. That's nature's way.
Great movie. Bit heavy. Weak ending but pure class.
Great movie - Scott was obviously Jimmie's biological son - "like father like son" Tommy's wife exclaims and she was right; Scott was becoming just like him. He beat Scott because he hated himself and in his twisted mind it was self-punishment.
Exactly
I thought Tommie was Jimmie son because he didn't beat him.
maybe, insecure men make no sense ever, ever.
What an amazing story.Best I've seen in a long time. 😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, what an incredible movie.

I have a master degree in counseling psychology and 30 years of experience. And i can tell you as fact, forgiveness does nothing but keep you a helpless victim.

But he has no one to turn to:
Stupid mom👎🏻
The brother who coward and left him👎🏻
Deep trauma & stupid👎🏻
The names of the characters are different in your description than who they are in the movie , he also didnt return to protect his mother
Not sure why they had to get rid of the bodies as them two guys broke into there house with guns humm that was legit on the killings
I thought the same thing, they broke in with guns, clean case of self defense
@redsammy7789 it's only self defense up until the attacker is not a threat anymore. If u continue to hit someone (with a baseball bat in this case) while they can not defend themselves its aggravated assault into murder if they die from it. Slight possibility of 🏰 doctrine, but a good prosecutor could throw that out being that he did not live there ATM. Plus the body scene was to make it so that cop brother couldn't do anything to stop brother from killing step father or rise ruining his own life
@@GrantTravels23 Dude, what state do you live in?
Would have loved to see the very end. And the credits
It's easy to talk about forgiveness when you haven't been through what others have been through. The older brother was treated a lot better than the younger brother so he can't relate 😢😢

Wow! Marlin Brando, Antonio Bandaras, and Omar Sharif were all magnificent in the movies!
I was a stepdad and it was the other way around. I did everything I could to win over the family to no avail. I bent over backwards to be a good person and step dad. But they were just too devious . And they ended up screwing me over so badly and destroying my life for 25 years they did so much damage. My only crime was being gullible. They were a family of narcissists. It’s not always the stepdad.

The answer to your question is in the last scene of the movie.
My brother was very abusive to his family. The children are grown now. He is a miserable old man. His first wife passed away. He has a new wife, and she's giving him hell. She's trying to take all of his assets.
