Loved your choice of art supplies. Except for a white paint pen and a couple of stencils, I think those will be exactly what I put in my travel bag. I absolutely adore that bag! I think it's the nicest one I've ever seen as far as size and organization. I will definitely be on the hunt for something similar! Thanks for sharing! I subscribed.
Thank you...makeup bags are the best for art supplies. The hardest part is putting the goodies I want to play with in them.
I would have liked to see a close up of the pencil case you made: it looked interesting. It was fun to see how quickly you were able to repack the travel bag.
+Wyoming Munchkin Thanks, I'll remember to zoom in closer on the canvas pencil case next time. Thanks for the feedback.
That is such a great idea to use a toiletry case as a carry-all! I also love the way you label each side of the letter stamps! Thank you for your packing how-to! I am always overwhelmed as to what to pack. Not anymore :)
so glad you liked it. I know how you feel. I kind of figured it out...happy to share.
I also cover my paint brush handles and then cover the tape with gel to keep them waterproof.
+Robin Veysey great idea thanks for the tip
I love Daiso!! So many awesome containers for supplies! I love the bag you got at Target too. Time to go shopping!
enjoy. Daiso has such fun art supplies and art making treasures.
Love your little travel kit!! I'm going to have to make one up now!! Thanks for sharing !! ✌
Hi, thanks for sharing your travel kit, and your video is very nicely done. I just wanted to let you know that you can fly with scissors. The TSA allows scissors with blades up to 4" in carry-on, so those little scissors should be fine.
VVH Thanks ... great to know. The rules must have changed, thanks for that bit of information. :)
We travel a lot, and I tend to take way too much. That looked like a good size to fit quite a bit into. I enjoyed, and got a lot out of this video. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
so glad it helped. I started organizing this way to keep me from bringing too much stuff. the first few times I learned I was missing things so I made note and made changes for my next trip. over time I got really good at packing the essentials.
Good job. You kept moving on subject made u easier to follow. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback...I'll remember that for future videos.
Excellent travel kit. Can't wait to put together my own.
Anais Casamayor Glad you enjoyed that. Thanks for watching...that was kind of a long one...so thanks for watching.
Loved this video!
The photo cases are perfect for my travel bag. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. it's good to know other artists use a similar technique to protect thier brushes.
Thank you for this great video!!! I'm off to an art journaling group meetup today and needed some help narrowing my packing!!!
+Elle Dee great ....Glad it helped. Enjoy your art journaling group meet up!

Love the video. Way to go with the intro and voice over. I got some ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much . I figured out I'm not good at filming and talking. I don't know how you do it! *** much respect ! ***
That's funny. I think I'd be no good at voice overs. No clue how. I'm going to give it a try.
Rachel Bellamy I just taped my hands showing what I wanted to show and going really slow. Then I watched the Video and taped my voice. I made lots of mistakes so I just taped it over and over until I felt like it was right. Still learning but thats my process so far.
Hi! I love your video and got some great ideas from it. Question though? What kind of containers do you have your gel medium and gesso in? I've not found anything yet that is truly leak proof! Thanks.
I use little jars but they are not the best. I now love the gesso in tube form. travels well and doesn't dry out.
great video; thank you!
Thanks so much for watching. Hope it gave you some ideas.
awesome ... thanks for sharing ;)

micheals
Great video - well done! New sub. :)
Can't get that in the UK.Lovely case.
+carol hodson oh Im so sorry. Maybe boots carries something similar? Our target only carries it for a while then they change styles.
Useful, Do you take just one small journal? or work on small sheets of paper.
Idk what she brings... but I usually bring a sketchbook and some scrap pieces of watercolor/Bristol paper. Like I make a little pocket in my sketchbook for easy storage
Yes, I usually live in one small journal that fits in my purse. I also have a larger journal that I use at home and for teaching journaling classes. hope that helps.
what kind of bag is that?
Its a cosmetic travel bag.
You mentioned flying when traveling, have you had any problems with your art supplies when traveling?
+Elizabeth Kilbride No I have not had any issues with TSA if my items are less than 4oz. and I just dont carry any scissors.
+The Red Dragonfly scissors are allowed under i believe 2 inches...i check every so often to make sure it hasnt changed. I've been traveling with my stork scissors for years. Margaret
+qtmarg144 thanks
I would recommend for the liquidy stuff like paint to put them in a plastic bag and if you are going to bring scissors bring the kind out of a sewing kit
good to know. I still wouldn't take anything I wouldn't want to loose. I have these great scissors from Paris that I would freak out over if they took them. (I'm a little attached to my art tools :))
