    Loved your choice of art supplies. Except for a white paint pen and a couple of stencils, I think those will be exactly what I put in my travel bag. I absolutely adore that bag! I think it's the nicest one I've ever seen as far as size and organization. I will definitely be on the hunt for something similar! Thanks for sharing! I subscribed.

      Thank you...makeup bags are the best for art supplies. The hardest part is putting the goodies I want to play with in them.

    I would have liked to see a close up of the pencil case you made: it looked interesting. It was fun to see how quickly you were able to repack the travel bag.

    That is such a great idea to use a toiletry case as a carry-all! I also love the way you label each side of the letter stamps! Thank you for your packing how-to! I am always overwhelmed as to what to pack. Not anymore :)

    I also cover my paint brush handles and then cover the tape with gel to keep them waterproof.

    Hi, thanks for sharing your travel kit, and your video is very nicely done. I just wanted to let you know that you can fly with scissors. The TSA allows scissors with blades up to 4" in carry-on, so those little scissors should be fine.

    We travel a lot, and I tend to take way too much. That looked like a good size to fit quite a bit into. I enjoyed, and got a lot out of this video. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

      so glad it helped. I started organizing this way to keep me from bringing too much stuff. the first few times I learned I was missing things so I made note and made changes for my next trip. over time I got really good at packing the essentials.

      Rachel Bellamy I just taped my hands showing what I wanted to show and going really slow. Then I watched the Video and taped my voice. I made lots of mistakes so I just taped it over and over until I felt like it was right. Still learning but thats my process so far.

    Hi! I love your video and got some great ideas from it. Question though? What kind of containers do you have your gel medium and gesso in? I've not found anything yet that is truly leak proof! Thanks.

    • @RedDragonflyStudio
      @RedDragonflyStudio  7 років тому +1

      I use little jars but they are not the best. I now love the gesso in tube form. travels well and doesn't dry out.

      Idk what she brings... but I usually bring a sketchbook and some scrap pieces of watercolor/Bristol paper. Like I make a little pocket in my sketchbook for easy storage

      Yes, I usually live in one small journal that fits in my purse. I also have a larger journal that I use at home and for teaching journaling classes. hope that helps.

      I would recommend for the liquidy stuff like paint to put them in a plastic bag and if you are going to bring scissors bring the kind out of a sewing kit

    • @RedDragonflyStudio
      @RedDragonflyStudio  7 років тому

      good to know. I still wouldn't take anything I wouldn't want to loose. I have these great scissors from Paris that I would freak out over if they took them. (I'm a little attached to my art tools :))
