Kia make nice cars (I drive one), but I dont agree with the spec or the price positioning of the EV3, it is a compact car with a mid/family size price and a luxury car array of gadgets - while having the possibly MOST desirable piece of equipment on an options only list (Heat-pump), and even then, only on the top spec model.
I would happily lose half those toys in exchange for a heat-pump, as I know who much cold weather can effect range in winter, having had to drive through an entire winter with a dead heat-pump (garage fuck-up, and no spares closer than South Korea).
It is annoying to see that 10 years into building EVs, they still position switches in stupid places; my steering wheel heater switch is completely hidden from view by the steering wheel, and the charger flap open button is right next to the charge timer on/off button - also both down low and hidden by the steering wheel; more than once I have plugged in and gone upstairs to find my Smart meter screaming at me, as I'd accidentally hit both buttons and the car is chugging down premium rate electricity.
What is really annoying is - right next to this row of semi-hidden buttons is a HUGE silver rotary dial with buttons twice the size of the heater, charger and charger flap buttons - must be for something important, right??
It controls the crappy mood lighting.

Can you turn the ambient lighting off? I find it very distracting at night and reflects in mirrors as you said.

Air model does not get the automatic flush door handles. They are manual. Rather like the Tesla model 3. 360 camera is only available on the GT Line S. Cameras are also higher resolution than the Air and GT Line.

Doesnt it have iPedal 3 which is one pedal driving? I believe you can activate it by pulling and holding the regen padle.

At least it has handles you can actually open in the event of a fire well at least in the front

Do you worry about your ICE car catching fire? Around 300 ICE cars catch fire each day in Britain.

You should do a video continuing on from your air quality video, but this time travel the underground, put it out on X also

Never mind air quality, on some underground lines if you travel without ear protection you will go deaf, no idea why that is allowed to continue.

Test drove the exact spec car. Contrary to what a lot of reviewers say, i find the styling a bit meh. It looks awkward form some angles and the amount of piano black trim panels is nasty.
Overall its decent and lots of tech but Unfortunately not for me.

Definitely will sell well, people who think this is overpriced seem to be out of the loop on car prices.

So you wouldn't consider a basic petrol Ford Focus at £28k as being at all expensive then?

The car you are testing do have "one pedal mode" in 4 different setting, could you please check your facts when you clame things about a car your testing

Please Do Not mislead public that is not only immoral but wrong too.
I test drive GT model allegedly with 370 miles range in town & motorway in a moderate manner. Shocking news is it gives 3.2 kwh which equates to 245 miles instead of 370 miles!!! Wow, 125 mile short of the false claim!! Acceleration is subdued, noisy with 20" tyre and backseat accommodate only 2 adults.... Test it for yourself to reveal the truth before part with your cash.

It varies with weather and driving style, as will absolutely every EV.

@ziploc2000 thanks for info, I have MG EV just over 4 years now, fluctuations in winter isn't as gross and vast.
Maximum I recorded is %6 drop in rang, in case of EV3 IS ALMOST %40, Something is not right.
