I absolutely love your sister. I am so excited to have her committed to so many episodes. I hope that she will continue to co-host Fruity Knitting as your podcast (permanent) partner. The extreme knitting section, especially with the bush fairies and that music, was absolutely magical.

I loved this episode for these reasons: Beautiful knitting, - Fiona, your cardigan has more bubbles than I would ever use, BUT it looks very beautiful and feminine on you! Well done! Then the footage of the 2 "Fairies! and the Australian countryside, the sheep AND the music with it are just perfect! I find Rastus Hsu's designs very interesting, thank you for introducing him to us! Ladies, I love watching you, - it gives me joy! Stay healthy and keep on knitting!

A Belated very Happy Birthday Fiona. You are both such a joy to watch. The knitting is fabulous and I love the cardi. Super both your interviews. What amazing people you always find. So pleased you are staying a little longer than first thought Andrea. It doesn’t change the sheer awfulness of losing Andrew but it will just give you some time to and catch your breath. I don’t have spare cash to join your patron but am watching the adverts in the hope that this will bring some revenue for you. Love you girlies big and little ones and have so enjoyed your silliness. So many ways to describe yarn lol! 10 ply is another term for worsted weight. Actually, knowing the “ply” weight of each weight of yarn is really useful. For example, fingering wt is also called 4 ply, and DK is 8 ply…so, if you double the fingering you tend to get something the equivalent of DK! (4x2=8).

My son turned 13 on the 31st! I told my bump (on the 29th) that we were ready and did not want an April Fool, so morning of 30th I went into labour. Coincidentally his cousin was born on the same day the year after. And his mum, my sis in law also shares that day as her birthday! Gelukkige verjaarsdag!!!

Yes the Tenterfield district is beautiful and the town itself is well worth a visit. I’ve holidayed there several times, the latest being last January. The town makes a big deal of both Henry Parkes and Peter Allen, which makes for an interesting pair. 😀😃😃. Often it’s a bit dry, but in January after the rain it was so green. As it’s on the southern edge of the Granite Belt, there are lots of spectacular granite outcrops outside the town. Thank you for showing one of my favourite places!

I'm happy to share a birthday with you (March 31)! This is the first episode I've watched. I've got a good feeling that it won't be my last.
I started watching fruity knitting about 6 months ago when I had foot surgery and decided that knitting would be a good replacement for sewing (It was my machine driving foot). This was well after your husband passed away. I am sorry for your loss. UA-cam kept putting them in the autoplay. I wasnt going to go back in time to watch them but now I'm glad I did. I feel like I knew him a little just from watching older episodes. I do miss seeing his works as I think I have a similar preference for lace and stockinette. I smile now when you say his line at the beginning of your podcasts. I'm glad he left you with many happy memories until you meet again.

Dear Andrea, I always think your podcast cannot get any better, but you outdo yourself each time! Fiona, Happy Birthday and please, stay on the podcast permanently! It is such a joy to watch you sitting on the same sofa and having the sisterly exchanges - so heartwarming! I bought a pattern from Steve! I have been ogling his patterns for quite a while, it is mindblowing.
You are SO BEAUTIFUL! Don't anyone ever think they have to go to seminary or take vows -- well, marriage, yes -- but just to be happy, make beauty, do your best thing -- that uplifts the rest of the world when sometimes we aren't able to do that. I moved a Steinway piano into subsidized housing; my medicine didn't come; and then I got cockroaches!!! Then I found this show and watched a bit; the meds came and I popped a couple; and took 4 loads down to the laundromat called Love Laundry in the rain -- and now it's the next morning after 9 hours' sleep -- oh my! -- I had the wooly thoughts book years ago, and my brain just doesn't go that way -- but I love the people and the pictures! Let's keep on keeping-on. Oh -- we almost need credits for the clothing. The accessories and trims! Free People, Sundance, watch and weep! Oceans of appreciation from West Sacramento, California

I knitted the dinosaur shadow knitting baby blanket for some friend's first child - it was so much fun! (and not difficult - it does require some concentration but no difficult technique) . They were absolutely mind blown :-) Their little boy is still using it to this day (I think he is about 4 or 5 now...)
