I wish I could get this in a .20 calibre , I have an old theoben Mfr with an after market.20 barrel and 2 custom made r.a.w 17 shot magazines , might not have any gauges or quick fill but I can keep up with all the.177 £2500 super rifles , I take it hft shooting once a month and I've never shit lower than a 50 with it , I love the agricultural solid workhorse feel the rifle has , the only thing I changed apart from the calibre was I put a hugget shroud and silencer on it , still one of the best rifles I've ever owned, never get rid of that one .
Bought it two weeks ago , don't have the time yet to test it but hopefully next week . This rifle looks so good that everytime I pass by it , I'll have to have a short look or touch 😆.
It's just a HW block inside of BSA stock and the bottle shot count is dreadful I've got a JB R10 MK 1 in SUB 12 177 and I get 220 shots out of a 200cc tank BSA regs are poop. And they're all owned by the same master company shouldn't have to spend £1,200 on a gun and then go to fit a huma regulator just to get a decent shotcount and consistency out of it
Been waiting for your opinion on this one , if it positive I'll be chuffed . Burton on Trent ? To a stokie that might as well be Birmingham ,lol you do have a Brummy accent in there , I got my ultra carbine on Saturday , I've put a 300 cc carbon bottle on and it's lovely so far .
Love RWS Super Field. All my guns are blindingly accurate with both .177 and .22. They are almost a perfect clone of AA Field but a heck of a lot cheaper and don't distort in the tin the same.
When I think about how long the hw100 has been around and how it's always had the anti double load feature ,well it makes me wonder why it's taken around 20 years for other PCP rifle manufacturers to start to do that with their rifles ? .
Excellent , and an excellent rifle , REALLY needs a carbon bottle though , or AT LEAST a nice stippled & rounded at the end one ( as per RM8 ish ) ... id have one if they came with the above ..
Yes my friend, I totally agree. They are both, totally fantastic air rifles, both gorgeous and both massively capable. Two fantastic British, air rifle companies, making to die for, air rifles. Holding either of them, or having them on my knee, is like having electric running through my veins, thankyou.
I didn't explain it great to be fair, you would have to take out the mag and pop it back in to make it double feed. There is a little mechanical stop that prevents double loading. I should have videod it whilst shooting....
Owned by gammo , built in Britain using 80% manufactured in Britain parts to build the rifle , and built by British men in Birmingham ,the parts of the rifle not made in the UK will be the stock and possibly the o rings , for them to legally use the built in Great Britain moniker you legally have to prove a minimum of parts used are made and sourced in Great Britain , so yeah BSA are owned by gammo but everything they make as far as PCP rifles go are made in England ( I think the springers are now being built in Birmingham again ,they were getting made in Spain around a decade ago ) .
I'm pretty torn between going for 1 of these in the "super" carbine walnut, a Daystate Huntsman Revere in left handed walnut,a Brocock Sahara XR, or as a curve ball a HW110KT to go along with my 100KS, I do already own a Ratworks tuned R10 so the daystate and Brocock are most appealing, any advice?
Ive got a revere and I get 120 shots in .177 , so if that's enough shots for you ,you can't go wrong , gorgeous handling rifle , having said that I now own a ultra carbine r12 in walnut ,along with a custom built hw100 buddy bottle rifle , Ive only used the r12 5 times but so far so good , as Neil said make sure you push your pellets in far enough that the o ring holds them in place or you can get a jam if you are using a longer skirted pellets , I've put a 300 cc carbon bottle on the r12 but that's the only change , all good so far , But there's a lot to be said for buying a good second hand rifle ( from a reputable shop who service the used rifles before selling them and they give a six month warranty ) if you can find shops like that , look at what second hand stuff they sell ( livens have some good stuff , and staffs custom rifles in audley sell used stuff and it's always as good or better than new from them )
@@aboutthemetal8783 yeah 120 isn't too bad for how light rifle is, obviously more shots the better cause saves me lugging round the bottle but it's not a deciding factor
@@Zillawill If you really want the r12 id recommend buying the 300 cc carbon bottle from best fittings , Ive done a full shot count test , on my .177 I got 260 shots , it still could of done more but I didn't want to shoot the rifle to the point where it dropped of the reg , but so far I'm very pleased with the r 12 , if you get the revere I'd consider the safari version the stock is much better as far as feel and design , it's got a slight schnable fore grip and the under side of the stock is thick so it safe and easier to put a sling stud on the front underside ( for a bi pod and or sling ) I think daystate will be upgrading the walnut stock to that shape at some point so I'd wait a few months ,hope that's of help to you .
@@aboutthemetal8783 deffo been of help to me mate, I do love look of safari stock and it's a safer choice for selling on due to being ambi, can I ask did you have to mod the stock to fit 300 carbon bottle? It was something I thought about doing myself in future

good video, just one complaint .. put the gun on a plain background and not on your advert board as you cant see the product tidy, that a big negative
Bought it two weeks ago , don't have the time yet to test it but hopefully next week . This rifle looks so good that everytime I pass by it , I'll have to have a short look or touch 😆.
BSA is Birmingham Small Arms pal.
Now that's a gun I could definitely get very soon. 👍
What did I say it was?
@@racknload British Small Arms! 🤔
FFS! 🤣 A mistake 10 seconds in! 😵💫 I've amended the details, cheers for the heads-up 🍻
@@racknload It wasn't a criticism pal. I really enjoy your videos. 🍻👍

The UK designed and built regulator particularly is a boon. Fantastic!!
Very nice piece of gun,British technology is top!!👍

Have to agree, would've made it bit lighter too
Nice one Neil 👍
Nice Bit Of Kit 👍👍
Any of these available with a normal non thumb hole stock?
Beautiful piece of art! Still wouldn't part with my .177 s510r Ultimate Sporter though

Super cool air rifle. I've never seen one that fancy & high-tech. Really smooth cocking lever. Viewer from Tennessee.
Awesome, cheers for watching! 🍻
So you have not seen a HW100?
@@Skilpadjie1 I just looked it up. Wow very nice. They are out of stock 😢
Is there going to be an fac version
Now that's a good question, you would think so....
It will go wrong had 3 new clxs ultra all gone back to bsa very bad after sales bsa carnt make pcps never again
Hi fella I’ve just purchased one and it’s gorgeous mine is in 1.77 what scope is on yours I can see it’s a hawke but what model??
Think it's a Vantage or Endurance...
“Heckering” I like that.
The magazine doesn't go lower than 1. There is no zero therefore it can't cycle past 1.
Exactly what I thought as well,my BSA Ultra CLX double loaded and its the same magazine

No buddy....
@@racknload would be good if you did one at some point 🤪
I would like to see you use the so called safety lock. Just goes to show you that the safety people have their heads in a dark place!
After owning one , sent it back due to mag issues , leaks and accuracy problems. Had a refund.Swapped to Air Arms.
250 shots in .177.? No way,.more 150ish.and you have the super carbine there,
Whats the clx stand for
Roman numerals
Why roman when it's British
Its 160 in roman numerals as bsa is celebrating its 160th anniversary
@davejarvis5279 understand that now thanks. Just don't under standard roman rubbish.. nice old English writing would of been nice
Hello my friend. BSA stands for Birmingham Small Arms, not British Small Arms!
I know, I put it in the details , slip of the tongue..
@@racknload No worries my friend, thankyou for your reply.
Great review, and well done. That looks a super rifle, and you did it justice. Best wishes!
Lovely looking gun but for the money,I can't believe they only come with a cardboard box
The R10 TH comes with a plastic box lined with foam, but it's too small heightwise to accommodate a mega scope!

As I guess everyone is shouting BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARM, not British. I suppose it's a bit like BMW? Another one many get wrong.
