I got diagnosed at 26 with anxiety too. You know what I think the hardest thing about anxiety is? The blurs, the confusion and the second geussing. It's not just about feeling nervous it's also about not being sure of anything sometimes
My anxiety made me feel vulnerable, nervous and made me unsure about myself, made me doubt myself and nervous when I shouldn't be. Still Makes me feel uncomfortable and over think a situation and makes me put it is much worse than it actually is, makes me feel drained some days and fatigued and panick attacks come and go as they please and my sleep is varied and not regular. Everything seems like a repeating crappy circle and when you go out and you talk to someone and some days you are ok and the next you are lossed for words and feel like you are going to say something stupid and keep yourself quiet and over think it after about what you should of said and sometimes the anxiety makes you not want to go out and when you do you want to run home back to your safe place because there you feel normal and safe and some jokes you can take but some You take to heart or get abit too over sensitive. Anxiety is a monster that lets you live in peace some days but others makes you feel on edge and it can be a draining process that only the outside you look fine to to others but on the inside your fighting this invisible demon that nobody sees and all they see is your fake smile but not your pain and that is why people with anxiety are really the strong ones because we have to deal with live and ourself and anxiety comes in many forms whether it’s through injury or failure or health anxiety thinking something is wrong with you all the time or phantom pains. Many people deal with different anxiety and I wouldn’t wish it on my worse enemy as it can kill you if you are low enough. I am now 32 and my anxiety as calmed down abit but it has brought on premature balding through stress and through sitting about doing nothing but going work and then laying about etc brought on a hiatus hernia and in away even thoe it gives me trouble now and then it has helped me become healthier and fitter as I’ve been forced to change my eating habits and excerise more and that as helped me keep happy but still sometimes sad. So my advice to anyone. Chocolate and all that greasy food etc and just sitting not upright etc all bring on a hiatus hernia if you are unlucky that is where your stomach pushes through your little thin muscle in between your diaphragm. It’s a thin muscle that weakens through too much chocolate and greasy food and slouching and not sitting up right and I was told many people have this condition without even knowing and it’s cause by bad lifestyle and lack of movement. And some times lifting poorly. I have now cut out chocolate and greaves food as this irratates it and can cause flare up and I have limited my beer to every othe weekend not every weekend and only a have a few not a lot. I feel miles better now through eating better and taking care of myself then I ever did and despite my HH and premature balding. I am a better person then I ever was in the past and I even make the effort to go out and jump into the deep end and talk and make the effort to try and beat what I have that doesn’t like me to enjoy myself. It’s your time to stop abusing yourself and start looking after your temple (your body) and force yourself to get help and mingle with others you’d normally avoid. Stop sitting about all the time And go out and stop worrying to much even if you can’t help it try and get an hobby to combat the worrying as a busy mind is a mind that can’t be over thought with doubt. It’s sad how this is becoming so common in people these days. I know several people who have committed suicide and most of them were heavily depressed. Suicide is surprisingly common in NZ. Unfortunately depression (and anxiety for that matter) are so multi factorial: environment, gut micro flora, diet to name just a few!
What an inspirational man Tyson Fury is. So honest and open about problems we all don’t want to acknowledge. I hope he realizes how many people he’s helping every day with his testimony.

Very enlightening: Pursue what you love, be surrounded by people who love you, be vulnerable with those you love. Those appear to be keys the battling depression Thank you Tyson Fury!!
Hard thing about anxiety is you can't explain to people who don't have it. Everyone says oh yeah I had that too once. If you had it once, you don't have anxiety.

A real man hides from nothing. Tyson is a true champion and an amazing human being. I love that he is an open book, I definitely look up to him as a man and he deserves all the best. I would love to shake his hand and look him in the eyes so I can tell him how I respect and appreciate him. He’s a class act and I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t be a fan of his
One word to describe Tyson Fury! LEGEND!
I feel so exhausted because of my depression. I can't understand how depressed people exercise. I try sometimes but my body punishes me
Sorry to hear that bro. How exactly does it punish you if you don't mind me asking?

Man just came across this. Wish I would've seen this years ago. The struggle of depression is a very difficult path especially all alone.
So Inspiring, I suffer from deep depression and I don’t have the confidence still fighting it.
I find it impossible to not love, Fury, he is as genuine as they come.
Love you Tyson
Thank you for putting a spotlight on Depression
And thank you for being you
Top man

Xxx
i love this man. What a legend!
I became soo much less depressed after I won a amateur boxing fight at 18....Having my second in 2 months...I hope to get a first round ko again since I train like there's no tomorrow...I swear you'll hear my name one day.
As someone who has struggled with depression my whole life. I understand him COMPLETELY.
I'm so proud to be from the same country as him, I'm so proud of him
Great roll model for anyone who has mental health and addiction problems and a brilliant bastard lol
Azza Gunna !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂☝🏿
He's right. I'm Irish and grew up with gypsies. Two things they love - horses and fighting. It's a tradition for them to do bareknuckle boxing. It goes back at least three hundred years. Tyson does come from a very long line of fighters on both sides.
Seems a good-hearted boy to me. Love him
When the world watching, he openly shares his struggle and being vulnerable with us. He was a badass titan on the ring but a 5 year boy on this video. I have so much respect for that. Love this video. Good job too to ESPN to have this interview.
He takes the words out of my mouth every morning. Most people wake up and fall on there knees to give thx for the Lord waking them up another day. I wake up and fall on my knees and scream why did you wake me up !!!! He's spot on
Hang in there men
Then why don't you take a bunch of sleeping pills right before you go to sleep? I bet you won't wake up.

Got a lot of respect for Tyson for being so open
So much respect for this guy 👍
Thanks Tyson. I went out on Wednesday night. Walked for miles. I felt suicidal. The walk helped. But I still felt suicidal. I'm a retired cop. Used to be a happy guy. Lockerbie changed me. I can't even talk now. Sorry
Tyson Fury a.k.a. The fighting Buddha.. Legend
Glad his able to survive the killer depression. Hope those people who's under that feeling is watching this and gain hope motivation.
I remember when i first saw Tyson Fury and it was somebody that i didn't think i would like. but he has proved me wrong over the years. He seems such a good person and he seems really respectful. I have a lot of time for him and enjoy watching his fights. I had some issues with anxiety and panic attacks and what he says makes a lot of sense.
Absolute legend and role model. All the best for the future, champ!
True champion! Great man with a great comeback. God bless you champ, thank you for your confidence and great advice!
Wow love this guy “besth thing in my life is Love” true champ
What an inspirational man Tyson Fury is. So honest and open about problems we all don’t want to acknowledge. I hope he realizes how many people he’s helping every day with his testimony.
This man is definition of the word "inspiration"
Literally struggling daily with mental health, anger, depression, anxiety, paranoia, losing everyone around me because of it, I feel alone, I have tried the medication, I litrally need a break before I give up!! I watch things like this to give me some hope, but I am honestly struggling so much right now.
How are you doing now? I am struggling a lot myself also
Great interview man damn, i was feeling down and it made me feel better
Troy C same here mate
*Absolute champion.*
Bro this guy is the man
I wish I'd seen this video a year ago...
So much respect for Tyson Fury. You can tell by how he acts that he has been through some hard times and come out the other side. Very inspirational.
Thank you again for your honesty on depression...you have given me lots of inspiration
Very enlightening: Pursue what you love, be surrounded by people who love you, be vulnerable with those you love. Those appear to be keys the battling depression Thank you Tyson Fury!!
Realest comment..!!!
Im currently going through it now , watching him is motivating me. it comes and goes and i dont wanna feel like this no more
3 years into the future how you doing now
Needed to hear this
He said he comes from a family where they do not show love. That's the cause of all these problems. in my opinion. that's the way in.
I was a boxer and having the biggest fight of my life thanks tyson 4 helping me
This is a surprising and in some aspects incomprehensible story. Such greatness mixed with incredible sadness.
He is so clear and smart
Thank you Tyson. 🙏🏻
That’s a real personality right there
Nice to know I’m not the only one
This is an Excellent interviewer @ ESPN
You are a hero to more people than you could know.
6:23 - So relatable.
Hard thing about anxiety is you can't explain to people who don't have it. Everyone says oh yeah I had that too once. If you had it once, you don't have anxiety.
I’m a distance runner but I love boxing... I guess I just love raw lose or win competition
Great interview!
Love this interview!!!
Tyson if the lineal champion suffers then nobody else needs to suffer in silence
