1:31: Interesting because I’ve also seen these two sets (This one and Vader’s Lightsaber/Death Star Trench) in the standard 1996-1998 striped Star Wars Micro Machines packaging. As for this I find it to be one of the weaker sets, more toward the Naboo Temple Ruins, Podrace Arena and Galactic Senate. Vader’s Lightsaber/Death Star Trench though is on the upper end near the Double Takes Death Star, Slave I/Tatooine, Star Destroyer/Space Fortress and Rebel Transport.
Thanks for this nice video, it was very useful for me to choose the gift for my baby and better understand how to attach the various stickers. Thank you so much, great job, I will definitely follow you!
It's a great looking set, but the action features just were not as exciting enough for me. As a diorama piece, it soars though. Great place to start along with Vader's Lightsaber set, as they are cheaper than retail on the secondary market. Those looking to build collections can start there and have 2 sets for the price of 1.
The box art usually featured pre-production prototypes. Companies may change some features, such as the stickers, before they settle on a final version for production. Notice the little gantry guard is in the orange pilot flight suit? It should be a regular Rebel trooper, instead. I guess that slipped by without anyone noticing.... By far the WORST Micro Machines Star Wars play set was the *Galactic Senate* chambers from The Phantom Menace. You know they were running out of ideas at that point. How would the commercial go? "Awesome fun awaits as you squabble about trade disputes. Wow! Now YOU can help vote on important political issues"! Even the vehicle sucked.....it came with a taxi.

I still think the old ones had more fun little details to them
"pew pew pew"😂😂😂
Very interesting
Be cool if someone made real, functional binoculars that actually looked like that, straight out of Star Wars! =P
Weird. Mine has a rectangular cutout for the window.
Just so you know, the knob on the side of the binoculars turns for added play value. Great review as always. :)
